At the end of the lesson students will:• Listen to a “TED” talk;• Recall information regarding planets and the order that they are in;• Share the knowledge from the “TED” talk with the class. • Recall information and draw out the solar system on a piece of paper.

FOR TEACHER:• Computer with Internet access• Projector and screen
FOR ALL STUDENTS• 2"x18" white paper• Pencils• Sharpie markers• Oil pastels• Black watercolor paint

Outer Space Watercolor Evaulation
Students will be evaluated on the following:• They must be able to recall information from the “TED” talk. • They must complete their art projects.• Their art projects must have all of the planets in the correct order and color.

Final analysisEach student will prove that they have mastered classification by classifying different types of animals according to their physical attributes.
