A) Some of the bidders had raised queries in the published tender specification. The Clarifications issued by BHEL are furnished below:

Extension of due date for offer submission
Please extend the date of submission of Bid by ten days
Extension of due date for offer submission could not be granted due to project requirement.
2) Technical Conditions of Contract (TCC) Volume IA, Part-I Chapter –V clause 1.5.11
The contractor at his cost shall arrange for grouting of anchor points of T & Ps issued to him. Necessary grout materials are to be arranged by the contractor at his cost.
Kindly clarify the type of grout material like GP1, GP2, Epoxy or Cement etc.
Grouting materials in line with Clause nos 1.12.9, 2.2.1.2 Sl no 5 and 2.2.2.3 Sl no 6 of TCC
3) TCC Volume IA, Part-I Chapter-XII clause 1.12.7
The contractor shall arrange for grouting of foundation bolt holes …….. .. ………. ……… ……….. ………. ……. ………. to take note of this aspect and quote accordingly.
Kindly clarify whether grouting of equipment is in Piping contractor scope.
Grouting of all equipments under the scope of this contract is to be arranged by the agency within quoted rates.

Kindly provide the Joints details individual thickness wise.
For Pipes with same OD and different thickness, the estimated value of weld groove depth is indicated in the “Type of Weld” column. Bidder to calculate joint details accordingly. Approximate quantity of Electrodes required also has been indicated for each OD. Please note that Field / Erection Welding Schedule published in the TCC booklet stands deleted.
