About Us
Virgin Wines prides itself on working directly with small independent wine makers to find great
quality, boutique wines. Over 85% of our wines are exclusive to us and many of them have been
have been made in partnership with our Wine Buying team. The result is that not only do we have
high quality, handcrafted products, but the passion for our wine travels from the vineyard to our
office!
Wine Challenge Tutored Tasting
Our aim is to get away from the idea of stuffy tastings where guests are lectured to; instead we have
a great way of engaging guests through our fun but informal ‘Wine Challenge’ style tasting. Your
experienced tasting executive will split guests into teams and take them through wine related tasks
to compete in, whilst going through the 8 different handcrafted wines.
The tasting includes a welcome drink for each guest, all equipment needed for the tasting (such as
glasses and spittoons), and they last for between 1.5-2 hours depending on time frame you require
(shorter tastings available on request).
Wine Challenge Tastings cater for 10-25 people.
Prices
Gold Standard tasting - £30 (+VAT) per person
8 wines worth between £8 - £12 per bottle
Welcome drink of Prosecco
Gold Premier - £45 (+VAT) per person
The Gold Premier tasting is our ultimate wine tasting package and contains:
8 wines worth between £8 - £20 per bottle
Welcome drink of Champagne
Prize for each member of the winning team (max. 6 people per team)

If you are looking for something a little different to the packages we
already have, then we are happy to talk to you about building a bespoke tasting event. Simply get in
