We have received a check for $112.45 for only 2 people us-
ing this search engine for the past year. Just think if every-
one in 4-H used it and we received money back—that could
be the only fund raiser we need for the year. Please con-
sider using this and helping out ourselves at the same time!
If you need help with it, give us a call.
GoodSearch is a search engine which donates 50 percent
of its sponsored search revenue to the charities and
schools designated by its users. You use GoodSearch ex-
actly as you would any other search engine. Because it's
powered by Yahoo!, you get proven search results. The
money GoodSearch donates to your cause comes from its
advertisers — the users and the organizations do not spend
a dime! The link is: http://www.goodsearch.com/
On the GoodSearch homepage, choose 4H - San Ber-
nardino County and mark it as a favorite.
Search the Internet just like you normally would — the
site is powered by Yahoo!, so you'll get high-quality search
results.
Fifty percent of the revenue generated from the sponsored
search advertisers is shared with the charity, school or non-
profit organization of your choosing. It’s that simple!!
This really works!

Emerald Star Project can Benefit You!
Emerald Star Project By Jacob Badal
This year I am doing a Emerald Project and the goal of my project is to encourage and help 4-H members in our county to do Public Speaking. My project will go until County Field Day in March. If your club would like me to come and help you with presentations then please contact at (909)517 - 9118 or at [email protected]. You may also contact and receive help through my project page on facebook under the name of 4-H Public Speaking Presentation or just friend me. On this page you can ask questions about public speaking and questions about your presentations. I will also be posting how to videos in December.

DINO’S TEEN COUNCIL
Mark your calendar, we are planning our Holiday Cosmic Bowling
Party for December 10th from 10:00 p.m. until midnight to be held at
the AMF Arrowhead Lanes located at 299 W. Orange Show Road, San
Bernardino. The party will consist of pizza and unlimited soda and the
price will include shoes and cosmic bowling for $20.00. All 4-H mem-
bers 13 – 19 are members of Teen Council and the council will pay
half towards each member attending. We want to make sure we re-
serve enough lanes and have enough food, so please r.s.v.p to the 4-H
Office if you will be attending. Parents and guests are welcome at the
full price of $20.00 and should also r.s.v.p.
See’s Candy for the Holidays. Teen council is again selling See’s
candy to raise funds to help pay for Winter Camp. We have fliers and
all the candy that is at the store is available to be ordered. This is our
one fund raising effort each year and it is convenient to get your holiday
candy instead of fighting the mob at the store. Support the teen Council
with this effort, you can get a flier and order candy from Kamie Cham-
plin, (909) 202-7015.
Winter Camp is being planned. We have reserved the lodge in Big
Bear for March 2 – 4, 2012. This is a fun weekend and we encourage
all the teens to participate. You can reserve your spot at the 4-H Office
as space is limited.
T.I.C. The early bird fee of $110.00 for TIC is due to my office by Friday, Dec. 9
th in the morning. After that the fee will be $120.00
until Jan 7th and $150.00 after that. Applications can be found
at: http://www.ca4h.org/Resources/Volunteers/Councils/Sectional/South/Teen_Involvement_Conference/
If you have any questions, please let me know.
It was voted at this meeting to have a county wide sweatshirt.
The sweatshirt will be dark gray with white imprint. The design
will be the outline of California with San Bernardino County high-
lighted and of course our ―Dino‖ and a 4-H clover. The cost will
be $25.00 for a pull over and $30.00 for a zippered. Anyone can
purchase these sweatshirts by calling the 4-H Office.
