Tru Earth, a environmentally friendly Vancouver-based laundry detergent company, is making a bigdonation to a global cause in Oakville. Tru Earth isdonating 300,000 strips of eco-friendly laundrydetergent to Oakville’s Health Partners Internationalof Canada (HPIC) for a project in Ghana.
HPIC is using this donation to support the Obaatanpaproject in Ghana. But for Tru Earth, this donation isjust part of their goal to donate two million loads oflaundry supporting HPIC’s international aid effort (amilestone achieved last week.)
Tru Earth began donating their products in April inresponse to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Sincethen, they have made shipments to shelters, foodbanks and hospitals. This is the company’s firstdonation in Oakville.
“Our core value at Tru Earth is that consistent smallaction can lead to big change in the world,” says BradLiski, the company’s co-founder. “We see this not asa choice but as our commitment to help make theworld a better place.”
