Upgrades being delivered by GE are expected to deliver
150 additional megawatts of power,
enough to provide electricity to
200,000 additional households in Turkey.
This project is ENKA’s contribution to help meet Turkey’s vision for 2023,
which includes goals of increasing efficiency of the country’s energy sector,
and reducing its carbon footprint.
In investing in a major upgrade solution with GE,
ENKA plans to improve its efficiency to better serve Turkey’s national grid
beyond 2020.
10 GE 9F.03 gas turbines are being upgraded with Advanced Gas Path (AGP) and Dry Low NOx (DLN) 2.6+ combustion solutions
