A conference for teachers, educators, policy-makers, and Shakespeare academics Connecting Cultures, Hearts and Minds: Shakespeare in China Over the last two years Shakespeare’s Globe has worked intensively with teachers in Zhengzhou to explore how creative approaches to teaching Shakespeare can enhance their own practice and the intellectual skills and emotional development of their students. This conference will disseminate the research findings of the project and offer opportunities for delegates to participate in workshops led by participating teachers and Globe Education Practitioners. Dr Li Yuxia will share her evaluation of the project and the relevance to this work to teachers of English and Drama and to Chinese students.
