What is a Conceptual Site Model

• It’s a model, not the truth• It an alternative to anecdote• It’s what all your engineer buddies do• Ultimately it identifies source pathways

and receptors to determine which ‘pollutant linkages’ could drive risk or under specific conditions

• But it is not a ‘risk assessment’
