Forum Europe - Who are we?Forum Europe has been organising policy debates in Brussels and around Europe for more than 20 years. We’ve established a reputation for the timeliness of our events, which are thoroughly planned and expertly executed and which facilitate ideas exchange on key EU policy issues at critical moments in the legislative cycle.

Founded in 1989 by former Brussels Financial Times correspondent Giles Merritt, Forum Europe is headed by directors James Wilmott and Dan Craft and is supported by a team of EU events, marketing and press relations specialists. We have offices in both Brussels and the UK.

Forum Europe is responsible for the organisation and delivery of many of Brussels’ leading events across a wide range of sectors. The ClientESOA is a non-profit European organisation established with the objective of serving and promoting the common interests of European satellite operators. The Association is the reference point for the European satellite operators industry and today represents the interests of 10 satellite operators who deliver information communication services across the globe.

Filling one of the plenary rooms in the European Parliament and helping ESOA raise awareness of their views in this area, this event focused on the European Commission’s Digital Agenda Action Plan aimed to give every European citizen access to basic broadband by 2013.

The ClientThe Authentics Foundation is an international non-governmental organisation that is dedicated to raising public awareness of counterfeits. Its primary goal is to inform consumers about the negative aspects of the counterfeit market, including money laundering, drug cartels, paramilitary involvement, organised criminal gang associations, child labor, and risks to one’s safety.

Forum Europe worked with The Authentics Foundation on the production of ‘Fakes Cost More’ – an international anti-counterfeiting summit and exhibition opened by EU Commission President José Manuel Barroso and endorsed by model Yasmin Le Bon. The event was hugely successful, attracting international press coverage from more than 250 television, radio and print media organisations, including Sky News, BBC, ITV, Reuters, Financial Times and many more.
