Todd Richards was named the 6th head coach in CBJ history on 5/14/12. He joined the club as an asst. coach on 6/20/11 and took over asinterim head coach on 1/9/12. He led CBJ to the 2nd playoff birth in franchise history in 2013-14 (43-32-7), setting franchise marks for wins andpoints (93) in a season. CBJ is 85-70-16 with Richards at the helm. Before CBJ, Richards compiled a 77-71-16 record as head coach of MIN from 2009-11. He served as an asst. coach with SJS (2008-09) andhelped the club amass an NHL-best 53-18-11 record. Richards was head coach of W-B/Scranton (AHL) from 2006-08 (98-49-13), reaching the Calder Cup Finals in '08.
