 THREE GRIFFINS NAMED TO AHL'S WESTERN CONFERENCE ALL-STAR TEAMThe Grand Rapids Griffins, Detroit's American Hockey League affiliate, are enjoying success in 2012-13 at both the team and individuallevels.  The Griffins currently lead the AHL's Midwest Division with a 22-12-2-2 record (through games played Jan. 17) and are just oneof three AHL teams to send three players to 2013 AHL All-Star Classic in Providence, R.I.  on Jan. 27-28.  Representing the Griffins onthe 2013 AHL Western Conference All-Star Team are:Stats through Jan. 17 gamesF Gustav Nyquist - leads Grand Rapids with 38 points (14-24-38), 24 assists and a +14 rating.  Ranks second on the Griffins with 114SOG. This is his second AHL All-Star Game appearance in just his second AHL season.
