• The main image usually consist of the rock band or rock group and typically consists of between two and five members. All wearing leather jackets and a lot of accessories.

• The rock artists will mostly have a guitar in hand or any other instrument as a prop.

• The main image that takes up the whole cover.

• Mostly a banner or a text is overlapping the main image.

• Main cover lines are usually in the larger text in the mid section of the magazine.
