Mithibai College of Arts, Chauhan Institute of Science the Flagship institute of Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM), a Public Charitable Trust was instituted in 1961 with the aim of providing premium education to the residents of Vile Parle and its surrounding areas. Amrutben Jivanlal College of Commerce and Economics was established in 1981 to address the rising demand for education in the Commerce stream. The vision and mission of the College aims to educate students to become competent professionals advancing the boundaries of their knowledge while simultaneously sensitizing them to the need for compassion and integrity as individuals and global citizens.

The College imparts education to more than 11,000 students. These students are encouraged to indulge in innovation and research by the teaching faculty while instilling values and providing a vibrant environment for the holistic development of students into valuable global citizens. The college has 33 departments of which 16 are Post-graduate departments with 10 of them conducting PhD programmes. In tune with the changing times college started skill-based courses in Mass Media, Accounting and Finance, Biotechnology, Banking & Insurance and many more.

In February 2018 College is conferred with graded autonomy for 10 years.

About workshop

Segment - I : This Workshop is organized to understand amendment in CAS-API criteria, document preparation, online submission.Segment - II : The Workshop aims at the understanding of online affiliation procedure.
