SUBJECT: Instrumentation and SCADA System Maintenance

ORIGINAL BUDGET: $600,000 for FY 14/15

CLEAN WATER 2020?: Yes

Two (2) proposals were received in response to the solicitation released for the

Instrumentation and SCADA System Maintenance (RFP0003-14-15) as requested

by the Metro Wastewater Treatment Plant.

I respectfully request City Council’s approval for this service to be awarded to MR

Systems at the following cost not to exceed $292,153.00. This contract is for a

term of six (6) months with an option to extend for one additional year. The total

cost also includes the HACH comprehensive service plan and contingency

allowance. The City has negotiated the removal of a site technician without

penalty with a 60 day notification. Thank you for your consideration and approval

of this request.
