Circles of CommitmentThe people involved in CFC-KFL have different commitment levels.

We identify the commitment levels of the people involved by a series of

concentric circles we call "Circles of Commitment"

Kids for Family and Life

Circles of Commitment

We recognize crowd level as all the kids ages 4-12 years old

living within our diocese/area. These kids have no involvement

with CFC-KFL, whether they attend Sunday masses or not for

as long as they are kids ages 4-12 years old, they belong to the

crowd level.

Kids for Family and Life

Page 5: Circles of Commitment

Massive number of kids will fall under this circle of

commitment. The only common commitment these kids share is their non-commitment to CFC-

KFL or maybe even to the Catholic Church

It should be made clear that there should never be any

competition among the Catholic kids' ministries in our

area/dioceses. Children need to hear about God's love which brought us to our purpose of testifying and evangelizing.

Kids whom we already had contact with, belong to this

level. They may have attended one of our

monthly activities, our sportsfest, etc and may have

filled out our registration form.

Some of them may be members of our CFC-KFL

school based club, invited by a friend, or kids

brought in by their parents.

These children already attend our activities but

have not yet attended our formal entry-point.

• Junior Kids' Day • Senior Kids Camp.

Once the kids have attended the Junior Kids' Day and Senior Kids

Camp they move to the community level. These kids are

now formally assigned to a particular chapter and household

(for Senior Kids) for them to constantly be involved with our

activities and gatherings.

Kids belonging to the community circle require the support and

cooperation of their parents/guardian, for the

significant reason that we still want the kids to learn about faith

and good values from their parents.

CFC-KFL's role is just to

supplement and encourage growth in faith

together with their family.

Two groups will belong to this level namely the parents

and the kids.

For children whose parents/guardian do not

belong to CFC-FFL, this can also be a tool for

evangelization to the parents.

The Committed level involves three groups:

the kids, their parents,

and the people serving in the ministry.

Committed Kids

- those dedicated to develop their spiritual habits of praying, attending CFC-KFL activities

and practicing servant leadership.

Kids for Family and Life

Committed Parents

- those who faithfully bring their children to the regular CFC-KFL activities

- those who follow-up at home whatever things they learned from the said activities

- those who actively participate in all activities especially the ones that require

their presence.

Committed people serving in the ministry

are the Kids Volunteers and the Parent Coordinators in our chapter/area

who selflessly devote their time, talent and treasure to serve God through the

CFC-KFL ministry.

Core level is actually a non-kids level.

These are the people who hold bigger area responsibilities. These are the District Kids

Volunteers or District Parent Coordinators and up.

The goal of the CFC-KFL is to reach the crowd level

by using our different activities to introduce our community to these kids.

Evangelization is not just a program that we need to create

and once done is enough.

It is a process of introducing Christ in their life.

Kids for Family and Life

CROWD

Page 26: Circles of Commitment

Kids for Family and LifeWe can start by organizing

different fun activities such as

Sports Clinic, Art Workshops, Dance Lessons,

etc.

Activities need not to be fancy, for as long as they are fun for the kids.

By inviting kids in the diocese/area to attend these activities, we will at least have an idea

what their interest are and start collecting their contact information for follow up.

Kids for Family and Life

CROWD

Page 27: Circles of Commitment

Kids for Family and LifeNow that we have the contact

information of the kids that belong to the congregation circle,

we can easily invite them to the different CFC-KFL activities

especially the Junior Kids Day and Senior Kids Camp.

Our goal is to keep them interested and encourage them to join the

CFC-KFL ministry.Kids for Family and

Kids for Family and Life

Kids in the community circle are the official CFC-KFL

members. They have attended the Junior Kids Day and/or

Senior Kids Camps.

Our goal is to nurture and bring them closer to Jesus through our

different activities.
