Christmas in St Annes

A relaxing Christmas break to Lytham and St Annes, on the picturesque Fylde Coast - know for its rolling sand dunes and beautiful Victorian pier. Your hotel is located in a superb position on the promenade and boasts excellent leisure facilities. Enjoy visits to Skipton and the seaside town of Southport. ITINERARY Day One: We travel to Lytham St Annes, arriving at our hotel in the early afternoon, in time for sherry and mince pies. Free time then to enjoy the excellent leisure facilities at the hotel. At 6pm, Champagne cocktails will be served in the main lounge with a chance to meet the management team, followed by a candlelit Gala Dinner in the Normandie Ballroom and music and dance with a live entertainer.

Day Two: After breakfast, we travel to Skipton, with its canal basin, tree-lined high street and 900 year old castle. We return to the hotel in time for a Christmas Eve lunch in the Ballroom, followed by entertainment and live music. Between 5-6pm, it’s happy hour in the Residents’ Bar, before a candlelit dinner, followed by more live music and dance.

Day Three: This morning relax at the hotel, before you enjoy your traditional Christmas lunch, and Santa makes an appearance! After lunch, relax and enjoy live entertainment in the lounge area. Tonight, a light evening meal is followed by live entertainment.

Day Four: After breakfast, perhaps enjoy a brisk walk along the seafront, before a light lunch is served in the Normandie Ballroom. This afternoon, join us on a trip to Southport where you will have free time to explore - maybe take a relaxing stroll by Marine Lake, or walk down charming Lord Street, with its glass-canopied shops. This evening, enjoy a farewell banquet dinner and live entertainment with music and dancing in the Ballroom.

Day Five: After breakfast, we begin our journey home, stopping at Liverpool where there will be free time for lunch, and perhaps some shopping in the January sales, before we depart for home.

Christmas in Southport

A fantastic Christmas break to Southport staying in the Ramada Plaza, which is located on the promenade, enjoying superb views over the Marine Lake. This charming Victorian resort is renowned for its beautiful coastline, lovely parks and gardens, plus miles of golden sands and Britain's longest pier. ITINERARY Day One: We begin our journey to Southport, stopping at Liverpool where you will have free time to explore. Perhaps take a cruise on the River Mersey, visit the museums and cathedrals or take a stroll around Albert Dock on the historic Waterfront, the country's largest group of Grade I listed buildings. We continue to our hotel in the late afternoon, in time for a warm welcome and three-course dinner.

Day Two: Enjoy a day at leisure in Southport - maybe take a relaxing stroll by Marine Lake and along the promenade or take the tram to the end of the pier. Charming Lord Street, with its glass-canopied shops and the Wayfarer’s Arcade, is home to a superb range of specialist shops. Afternoon tea is served in the hotel, and in the evening enjoy another three-course dinner and entertainment .

Day Three: A relaxed morning in the hotel to enjoy the festivities, followed by a three-course traditional Christmas lunch. After lunch, perhaps take a stroll along the waterfront or relax in the hotel lounge. A hot/cold buffet will be served in the evening.

Day Four: Another morning at leisure, then in the afternoon the festive spirit continues with a pantomime at Southport Theatre, situated next to the hotel. In the evening, there will be another three-course dinner followed by entertainment.

Day Five: After breakfast, we depart the hotel, and begin our journey home. We stop at Chester where there will be free time to explore and have lunch, and perhaps grab some bargains in the January sales, before we continue our journey home to North Wales.

We are very pleased to include this very popular Christmas holiday once again, staying at the excellent four star Carden Park Hotel, set at the end of a spectacular mile-long drive amongst 1000 acres of delightful Cheshire countryside. Located near Chester, Carden Park has been a significant Cheshire Estate since the 17th century, and following major transformation, is now a hotel, golf resort and spa. ITINERARY Day One: A leisurely drive to Cheshire, arriving at Carden Park in time to enjoy hot chocolate and cookies on arrival, and check in to our luxury rooms. This evening, enjoy a three-course dinner and live entertainment.

Day Two: We head into the lovely city of Chester where there will be time for some last-minute shopping, perhaps a visit to the cathedral, a walk in the park or on those famous city walls. This evening, enjoy a three-course dinner followed by entertainment.

Day Three: After breakfast maybe take a stroll in the hotel grounds or make use of the hotel’s leisure facilities, before a drinks reception and the traditional Christmas lunch. In the afternoon, relax and perhaps watch the Queen’s Speech. This evening, a Christmas Buffet Dinner will be served, followed once again by further entertainment.

Day Four: Further free time to enjoy the hotel facilities or perhaps a round of golf on one of the hotel courses. This afternoon, you may wish to join us on the coach for a leisurely scenic drive, then this evening there will be a three-course Boxing Day dinner and entertainment.

Day Five: After breakfast we check out and leave our lovely surroundings for our short homeward journey.

Day Two: This morning, join us on a visit to the magnificent Georgian city of Bath to explore its iconic attractions and architecture. This evening, enjoy a glass of bubbly before dinner, and meet the hotel staff who will be taking care of you during your Christmas stay. This is followed by dinner, then live entertainment in Carrie’s Bar. At 12pm, you can attend a midnight communion at St Leonard’s Church if you wish, which is approximately a half-mile walk into the village.

Day Three: After breakfast, relax in the hotel, with Santa making an appearance with gifts in the late morning! Enjoy a complimentary drink before the traditional Christmas lunch is served. After lunch, relax and watch the Queen’s Speech or perhaps take a stroll around the extensive hotel grounds. This evening, a buffet will be served, followed by more live entertainment.

Day Four: Enjoy a leisurely brunch, followed by a journey into the Cotswolds to visit Bourton-on-the-Water, voted as one of the prettiest villages in England and also known as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’, with its bridges crossing the River Windrush. After dinner, enjoy fun and games and a disco in Carrie’s Bar.

Day Five: After breakfast, we depart the hotel and begin our journey home to North Wales.

Christmas in Jersey by Air

A Christmas holiday to Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands, situated just a few miles from the coast of France. The island enjoys a pleasantly mild climate in the winter and is conveniently just a short flight away from the UK. There are miles of coastline with sweeping bays offering spectacular scenery, plus an abundance of historical sights. Join us for a seasonal celebration in St Helier, Jersey's charming capital, a great place for a relaxing Christmas break with its maritime atmosphere, beautiful surrounding countryside and bustling shops where the absence of VAT is a distinct bonus. ITINERARY Day One: We travel to Manchester Airport for the short outward flight to Jersey. On arrival in St Helier, you will be greeted by your resort representative, presented with a welcome pack and transferred to the Ambassadeur Hotel.

Day Two: A day at leisure to explore St Helier, the island's capital with its mixture of local and high street stores plus the Victorian covered markets, filled with a wealth of glorious goodies at this time of year. Tonight, enjoy a cocktail reception with the management, followed by dinner and live entertainment.

Day Three: Relax and enjoy complimentary champagne cocktails whilst waiting for Father Christmas. Traditional Christmas lunch will then be served in the Peintmain Suite, then maybe watch the Queen’s speech and take a stroll on Green Island. Dinner this evening will be followed by live entertainment.

Day Four: After our Boxing Day breakfast there will be an included morning coach tour to see some of the island’s attractions and landmarks, followed by lunch and an afternoon at leisure in St Helier. After dinner this evening there will be further live entertainment.

Day Five: A further full day at leisure in St Helier for exploring or maybe take another sightseeing tour. Tonight, enjoy our final dinner and evening entertainment.

Day Six: We return to the airport for our flight back to Manchester and transfer home to North Wales.
