October was an interesting month for Music Matters Inclusive Community Choir!!

We are delighted to welcome all of our new members and volunteers who have joined us overthe past month.

Our new song this month is John Denvers Leaving on a JetPlane

We are also very excited about our upcoming Something Inside So Strong Concert whichtakes place in the Axis Theatre, Ballymun injustTWO weeks time!!

Music Matters has a new Office!

Some of our wonderful and dedicated volunteers at Music Matters have been exceptionallybusy over the past few weeks, as we have been painting and decorating our new office!

We would like to thank the Social and Community Development section of Dublin City Councilfor their advice and support over the past few months, and for providing our new office spaceWe are now based in St Paul's Resource Centre, Blackhall St, Dublin 7, which is nearthe Smithfield LUAS stop and the Law Society of Ireland

This office space in Smithfield is for volunteers to meet up on a regular basis, to planrehearsals, concerts andother events. Computers and laptops will be provided in the comingweeks, so the volunteers can work together on different projects and administration duties, asopposed to working from home.

Many people from the local community will benefit from the new refurbished officespace, which had been disused for some time. Music Matters also hopes to organisechoral workshops for the local community, which will take place in St Paul's ResourceCentre in the next few months.
