Search Techniques

• OR = Expand

• NOT = Exclude

Boolean Operators

• Connect keywords only• Must be placed between keywords• AND

– Narrows your search

• OR– Expands your search with synonymous

terms

• NOT– Excludes words from your search– If used too much, it can work against you!
