• Federal purpose – to create new funding opportunities and funding method for tribal nations to address meth and related substance abuse and related social issues.

• Federal purpose – to create a ‘tool kit’ of tribal ‘Best Practices’ to prevent and treat meth and related substance abuse and related social issues.

• Tribal purpose – to provide policy leadership by working with federal partners in acquiring capacity to address needs identified by the People through planning, financing, and direction.

• Tribal purpose – to build capacity for new & existing tribal programs to provide best practice approaches & services to meet the People’s needs.
