• Get a rubber band from Ms. Bloedorn. Write your name on it in PEN. Put it around your phone and deposit it in the bin.
• Grab two folders.
• Any questions before the “quiz”?
• HW: Read about the Green River killer, pg. 76 (textbook)
Objectives
• IWBAT• Define forensic science. • Describe the major contributors to the development
of forensic science. • Describe the services of a typical comprehensive
crime laboratory in the criminal justice system. • List other areas of forensic science that require
expertise in a specialized area. • State Locard’s Exchange Principle of transfer of
evidence.• Analyze the data obtained from a crime scene using
deductive reasoning.

• You need• Pencil or Pen• Your phone in the bin in the front of the room
• Turn in the “quiz” when you’re done.
• Check your folder in the Pd. 3/5/6 bin for returned work.
• Borrow a textbook and read on pg. 76 about the Green River killer.

• List the evidence that police had gathered on Gary Ridgway, before they were able to arrest him.
• What changed?
• What other evidence linked him to the killings?
