We would like to thank everyone for their patience's for the first meeting!! All the members were
great!
For those who could not make it, you missed one of the best meeting we have had in a long time!
Besides our regular speakers who by the way are always great, Jeff Logan and Ron Maciejowski,
we were please to have Urban Meyer and Dan Cloran, give us much insight into the difficulties that
The Ohio State University has faced and the struggle trying to get fall sports underway.
The new “NORMAL” for this year will remain in place for all meetings!! Please see page 2, as we
have added a couple meetings. More could be added as availability of the Scioto Country Club
becomes known.
We have been told by our contacts at OSU, that if any member of the coaching staff is schedule to
speak they will do it via ZOOM. At this time, I am not sure of the speaker for Thursday, October
22, 2020.
I have left the Guidelines and Protocols for the meetings attached. Seating this year will be open,
NO RESERVED TABLES. The banquet room is efficient for social distancing.
Lea will be taking temperatures in the lobby. If you are showing a temperature of 100.0 or above
you will not be permitted in. (see attached Guideline & Protocols) Face mask may be worn during
the meeting if you choose, we highly recommend this when you are not eating.
Lunch was served by the staff of The Scioto Country Club, so once people were seated there was no
need for movement unless people absolutely need too. I know this was a concern for some members.

ALL GUESTS are welcome!!!! Please make sure to use the link in the email for all reservations.
You have until Monday, October 19 at 11:00AM to make or change a reservation. After the
date and time you will be responsible for the cost of the luncheon.
DO YOU ADVERTISE IN THE EBQC NEWSLETTER?
We have two opportunities for our members to advertise their businesses: We offer advertising in our monthly newsletter
and in the yearly directory for a fee of $175.00 for a full page ad, $100.00 for a half page ad and $75.00 for a business card
ad for the full year. If your ad from previous issues is not paid, it will not appear in the 2020 newsletters. Please send your
check as soon as possible. Contact Lea Barry at 614-554-8386 to place your advertising order or to get more information.

PLEASE DONATE RAFFLE ITEMS!
We all enjoy winning raffle items but only a few members donate. Keep in mind the more that is donated, the more
chances there are of winning. When you donate, the member and their company name will be listed in future
newsletters. When you bring your items into the luncheon, please bring them to Lea’s table where I can put your
name on the item and make note of it, so you may get the recognition your deserve. I will give the items to Pat Smith!

GUIDELINES & PROTOCOLS
• Attendees are required to wear face covering outside the facility. (State Mandate)
• Attendees are encouraged to wear face coverings during the meeting expect when eating.
• All Earle Bruce Quarterback Club staff will be wearing face covers except the speaker while at
the Podium (if they choose to wear one that is fine)
• The Quarterback Club will have extra masks in case of an emergency.
• Seating in set by the facility guidelines, please do not move chairs
• We will be taking temperatures as members arrive. We will not allow any member with a
temperature of 100.0 or above inside the facility
• The Earle Bruce Quarterback Club is asking any member that exhibits illness symptoms of any
type, please do not attend
• The luncheon will be buffet BUT The Scioto Country Club will have their staff serving to
eliminate touching of the serving utensils.
• The Earle Bruce Quarterback Club will have Hand Sanitizer at the registration table and the
merchandise table. We will place packets disinfecting wipes at all tables.
