Welcome to The First Tee of Green Valley Ranch 2012 Season!!
Please keep this sheet with you to reference important information about our program! Everything we need you to know is on this page
or in the Parent Handbook.
Parent Orientation
New for 2012! We ask that parents of NEW Par Level participants attend one of the following Parent Orientations. During the
Orientation, you will receive the Parent Handbook, may register for classes, discuss scholarship options and become familiar with our
teaching philosophy. If you have been a part of the certification program before, you have the option to take a "TFTGVR Parent Quiz",
which will excuse you from orientation. If you chose not to attend Parent Orientation, please fill out the Quiz (found online under
Programming-Parent Information) and return to Heather Kleeman.

Registration ($125 for returning TFTGVR-ers! $150 for NEW particpants)
Please fill out all of the information on the Registration form as well as the Code of Conduct form.
Keep in mind the phone number(s) and e-mail address(es) listed on the registration form will be the main forms of
communication we use to let you know about Class Cancellations, special TFTGVR events and other participant
correspondence.
Financial information is kept confidential and is crucial when we apply for grants and additional funding for our program.
Scholarship applications are available upon request. We will grant partial or full scholarships based upon the application.
Schedule
Below is the schedule template for the 2012 season. Classes will be scheduled and posted on the website. Class registration will close
at 12am Monday each week. Every other month a certification evaluation will be offered for participants who have completed their
scorecards.

The scorecards are the same from last season. All milestones will carry over into the 2012 season! Practice and Playing requirements
will be erased and must be completed before participants may attempt certification.

Class Attendance – New for 2012!
Participants are HIGHLY encouraged to take their milestones in order of class number. Example: Pitching #1, Pitching #2, Pitching
#3. The classes advance through a progression so it is easier for the participant to learn. If you will not be able to make it to a particular
class, please let us know by phone or e-mail prior to class. Failure to show up for class you are registered in and not notifying the
program coordinator or lead coach will result in the following: 1st No Show – Remove 1 milestone from scorecard, 2nd No Show –
Remove 3 milestones from scorecard, 3rd No Show – Remove ALL milestones from scorecard.

After Class/Tournament Safety Guidelines TFTGVR recognizes the responsibility to provide a safe learning environment for all of our participants. We ask that you make every effort to pick up your child after their
designated class time. Just as you do, our staff members have families and responsibilities after closing time. If you will be late, please contact TFTGVR immediately.
Programming hours are complete at 6:30 PM Monday-Friday and 12:30 PM Saturdays. After 15 minutes of programming completion (6:45 PM Monday-Friday and 12:45
PM Saturdays) a late fee of $1.00 per child per minute will be invoiced to you. If you are more than 30 minutes late without notifying TFTGVR, and we are unable to reach
you or an emergency contact, we are required to call the Denver County Office of Child Protective Services for assistance in ensuring the safety of your child.

Mentors/Coaches TFTGVR relies on the assistance of volunteers to help provide the best coaching and supervision possible to our enrolled participants. Available opportunities include:

or any other facility where the program activities are conducted, including transportation. I do hereby release/discharge the above mentioned individuals and entities from

The First Tee of Green Valley Ranch requires ALL participants and parents/guardians to follow our Code of
Conduct. Please read the following together and the participant initial where indicated.
RESPECT FOR MYSELF
_ I will dress neatly in a clean shirt tucked into pants or shorts, and I will wear (tied) golf shoes or athletic shoes.
_ I will try my best and keep a positive attitude when I play or practice.
_ I will keep a positive attitude and catch myself doing something right regardless of the outcome.
_ I will be physically active, eat well, get enough sleep, and take care of myself so I can stay healthy.
_ I will be honest at all times, including when I keep score and if I break a rule.
_ I will use proper etiquette and maintain my composure even when others may not be watching.
RESPECT FOR OTHERS
_ I will follow all instructions and safety rules.
_ I will keep up with the pace of play on the golf course.
_ I will be friendly, courteous, and helpful.
_ I will remain still and quiet while others are playing and have fun without being loud and rowdy.

I understand that I am responsible for regular attendance. If, for any reason I am unable to attend a class, I will contact The
First Tee of Green Valley Ranch as soon as possible. Repeat absences may result in suspension from future class registrations.
