Dave Goldtooth, Naschitti Elementary School Principal extend his gratitude to the staff, students, and community for their support.

I. ROUTINE MATTERS

A. Board Vice-President, Ruthda W. Thomas called the meeting to order and verified that a quorum was present through a roll call at 6:55 p.m.

B. Adam J. Begaye led the school board and audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.

C. Randy Manning conducted a prayer.

D. Agenda Review

E. Motion by Adam J. Begaye, second by Randy Manning to approve the Agenda. Motion Carried, 3-0.

II. COMMENTS FROM THE AUDIENCE

Terry Yazzie, Navajo Nation Division of Health requested to have a resolution for Health Hunger Free Kids Act approved by the School Board of Central Consolidated School District at the January's Board meeting.

III. REPORTS

A. Evelyn Edd, teacher of Judy Nelson Elementary School presented the Unique Trip Request for students to travel to Navajo Nation Capitol in Window Rock, AZ on April 29,2016. This trip explains how Dine people and historical event that have influence the development of the community.

B. Tamara Allison, Newcomb High School Principal introduced the Head Coach Dominick Richardson and Arlene Baloo to present the project. Ms. Baloo and her family collected toys and would like to bring the toys back to the Navajo Nation area and also would like to donate the toys to Newcomb Schools. They would like to use Mr. Richardson as Santa Claus to distribute the toys to boys and girls in Newcomb community. Planning on distributing to Newcomb and Naschitti Elementary School on Thursday December 17th. Dr. Bowman suggested to incorporate reading to the students and have the athletics read a story to the children.

C. Marilyn Wilson, Payroll Supervisor presented the BAR Reports, the first BAR is to cover salary position, second BAR to cover a salary position, and the last BAR is for 21 SI

Century Grant.

IV. CONSENT AGENDA

A. Motion by Randy Manning, second by Adam J. Begaye to approve the Consent Agenda Discussion: On Item J - Newcomb High School Student Toys Donation with the stipulation from the Superintendent. Randy Manning also thanked the District for making the District Calendar change. Motion carried, 3-0.

B. Motion by Randy Manning, second by Adam J. Begaye to approve the Minutes for November 17, 2015 Regular School Board and December 10, 2015 Work Session. Motion carried, 3-0.

C. Motion by Randy Manning, second by Adam J. Begaye to approve the Fundraising Requests 1) Kirtland Central High School - National Honor Society - Sell Zipper Hoodies - December 16,2015 through January 8, 2016. Motion carried, 3-0.

D. Motion by Randy Manning, second by Adam J. Begaye to approve the Unique Trip Requests. 1) Judy Nelson Elementary School - Students - Navajo Nation Capitol ­Window Rock, AZ - April 29, 2016 (one day). Motion carried, 3-0.

E. Motion by Randy Manning, second by Adam J. Begaye to approve Dennis Fieldsted to be Execution of Documents on the PSCOC Awards. Motion carried, 3-0.

F. Motion by Randy Manning, second by Adam J. Begaye to approve the Adopt the Facility Master Plan. Motion carried, 3-0.

G. Motion by Randy Manning, second by Adam J. Begaye to approve the Renovation of the Shiprock High School Natatorium. Motion carried, 3-0.

I. Motion by Randy Manning, second by Adam J. Begaye to approve the Donation from Smith's for Kirtland Central High School FCCLA. Motion carried, 3-0.

J. Motion by Randy Manning, second by Adam J. Begaye to approve the Donation Letter for Newcomb High School Senior Class Annual Benefit Contest Pow-Wow. Motion carried, 3-0.

K. Motion by Randy MalU1ing, second by Adam 1. Begaye to approve the Newcomb High School Student Toys Donation with the Stipulation from the Superintendent. Motion carried, 3-0.

L. Motion by Randy MalU1ing, second by Adam J. Begaye to approve the Memorandum of Understanding between Central Consolidated School District and Capacity Builders, Inc. Motion carried, 3-0.

Randy Manning - No report Adam J. Begaye - No report Ruthda W. Thomas - Attended NMSBA Annual Convention training in Albuquerque and Charlie T. Jones, Jr, Randy Manning, and Ruthda W. Thomas were recognized for Leadership Achievement Award and Exemplary Award.

B. Superintendent Report

Dr. Colleen Bowman reported that the District on filed the Civil Right Data Collection report final submission on Friday. Currently reviewing desk monitor for Title VII Formula Grant Program for Education Agency. Special Recognition to Naschitti Elementary School to the 5th grader on Literacy Award and the students received gift card. Still in the process of the textbook adoption. Attended the conference with the school board Annual Convention.
