Welcome to the Carriageworks Theatre

This Spring discover innovative, intimate work in our studio with A Day of Pleasure (20 – 21 Mar) and Dream Yards (25 Mar). Lose yourself to great literature in the mystical world of Grisly Tales from Tumblewater (15 Feb), dive into Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic Kidnapped (13 Feb) and enjoy a fright-night out with Nosferatu’s classic movie monster (20 – 21 Mar).

Youngsters – don’t miss out on new adventures with Bin Men (20 Feb) by acclaimed children’s playwright Mike Kenny, Isabel’s Well (11 Apr) and Worried Walrus (10 Apr) back after their summer sell out. Led by professional theatre director, Ruth Cooper, the members have the opportunity to work with other industry professionals such as actors, designers and stage managers. In creating a new piece of theatre, the CYTM work as an ensemble, developing team-work skills and increasing their vocabulary of contemporary performance styles and techniques.
