Starship Children’s hospital would like calico dolls for the sick children to decorate and Santa Sacks to put the children’s presents in at Christmas Time.

• Calling Bob the Builder! Are you keen to help build housing for underprivileged people in South Auckland.

• You can only join this workshop if you are 15 years old and have someone to supervise you.

Creative types apply here! Come and join us to make a fabric mural and other soft toys to donate to the local day care centres. We will also make cushions to donate to Middlemore Hospital.

Pimp my Ride

• Come along and help us free the area around Lynfield College of graffiti. In this workshop we will be painting over tagging and tidying up the local area. Some students have already been approached to be part of this workshop.

Want to learn some basic surf life saving, first aid and bush survival skills. Come and join us. We will be visiting Piha as part of this workshop and local bush areas. Explore the outdoors – learn to save a life. • @ School & Piha

• Like kapa haka. Fancy yourself as a weaver! Come along and learn about traditional Maori culture. This will involve taking some workshops with New Windsor Primary and two local day care centres.

• Do you want world peace! ‘One People One Planet’ are trying to get school students to create the world’s largest peace banner. Contribute to this banner by joining this workshop and creating Lynfield College’s peace banner.
