Corporate: • AIPAC Policy Conferences 2008-2015 (VIVA) - Event Production Lead: A dozen+ fully
produced sessions across multiple venues for this 3-day conference for 15,000+ delegates. The 2015 main general session room featured an immersive video-projected audience surround with unique content across the 1700ft+ wide canvas – and this was not the largest supported venue.
• ALSO: APEC 1997 & 2012 Summits; Norwegian ESCAPE cruise ship launch; Orange Bowl
Theatre / Performing Arts: • FOSSE (Livent) on Broadway - Production Manager / Technical Director. This production
won 3 Tony Awards including Best Musical. • ALSO: Supervised the mounting of dozens of Broadway tours including the first touring show
in mainland China and the first resident Broadway musical in Russia with a Western cast. Themed Architectural / Exhibits:
• EXPO 2000 (CW2) - Technical Director / Project Manager: 155 countries participated in this major world fair in Germany. The site was larger than two of the countries.
• ALSO: International Auto Show (Saab booth design); America’s Smithsonian (touring exhibit) Skill Set:
• Strong Effective Leadership: Teams large and small; entry level through industry veterans; Execs, Clients, Staff, Vendors, Creatives and more.
• Exceptionally strong stage-craft & A/V knowledge: lighting/staging design, video/graphics technologies (LED/projection/media servers/IMAG/playback/records), audio, automation, satellite links, web-casting, video conferencing, power, international shipping, tour packaging.
• Advanced computer skills: CAD, MS Office, Database Development, Accounting Systems… Some PowerPoint, Photoshop, MS Projects. Former software engineer (still write VBA code).
• Other: Budgeting/cost-control (Excel expert), executive producing of events, show calling, union labor & vendor negotiations and management, client development and management, scheduling, staffing, proposal management and “pitching”
