CLEVER CREATURES
Don’t forget our transition program has commenced. This program will run for all of Term 3
& 4, every second Wednesday 9am – 3pm.
We all love having our Clever Creatures at ‘Big’ school. They have adjusted to our school
routine wonderfully, already made lovely friendships and are enjoying being at school just
as much as we love having them.

#SAVEOURFARMERS
Carcoar Public is proudly supporting our local farmers and we would love for you to get on
board. Over the next 5 weeks we will be fundraising on behalf of ‘Helping Farmers in the
Central West’ organisation.
Ranee, from Jed & Ginger, is kindly donating #saveourfarmers decals (stickers) to purchase
for $5 each. All money from these decals will be given to our chosen organisation ‘Helping
Farmers in the Central West’.
We will also be collecting non-perishable and household items to send to this organisation
who will then distribute to farmers in need. Please feel free to drop off your items in the
basket at the front office.
If you wish to donate and/or purchase a decal please drop into the school. Keep your eye
out in the local area as they will be available in various local shops.
More information on further fundraising will be sent out soon.

FROM THE PRINCIPAL…
Many thanks to everyone here at Carcoar Public School for your involvement in all of our
activities. From spending a cold Sunday morning for our photo shoot, to visiting the
classroom during Education Week and Book Parade as well as those early starts for the
excursions. We know it's busy and really appreciate everyone participating and sharing in
Carcoar's educational experiences.
We are excited to announce that our school's internet will be improved THIS WEEK, through
the Connecting Country Schools initiative. Improved Wireless and internet service will give
our students more chances to connect and collaborate as well as greater access to online
knowledge databases and streaming media.
