About us Wesco has over 40 years’ experience in the electrical and communications industry and has worked on major projects with some of WA’s largest companies delivering holistic communication and electrical services. The ownership of the company has been retained through two generations of the Mannion family with Robert and Michael Mannion managing the company and overseeing the day-to-day running of the business. We form long-term relationships with our customers, suppliers and employees. Our difference is our drive to build and maintain customer satisfaction through a superior quality of service based on respect and trust.

As electrical and communication specialists, we offer our clients cost efficient long term solutions and have a strong commercial focus. Wesco’s experience includes major civil and construction projects across the state, to meeting the everyday service and maintenance needs of our clients.Wesco prides itself on the constant improvement and development of its staff. Employees are actively involved in regular training programs to ensure they practice the most up-to-date and the latest safe working procedures certified to commercial standards.Wesco has an experienced team of well-respected renowned specialists. Every Wesco electrician holds an A-Grade Electrical Licence and an ACA base cabling licence with endorsements as a minimum requirement.

Our People At Wesco our biggest asset is our people. The company invests heavily in the growth and development of its people with in-house and external training and development programs. Wesco is considered by the industry as an employer of choice and has a record of retaining and attracting quality people in the business. The company has in excess of 20 employees with more than 15 years of continued service with the company. Wesco also makes a significant investment in the training of apprentices and currently employs a large number of apprentices throughout the operation.

Wesco can add power points or data points to existing systems. We also provide breakdown or maintenance services ranging from fixing light fittings, to repairing tripping circuits to complete malfunctions or burnouts.

Wesco specialises in commercial installation and fit outs, scheduled maintenance, advisory, faults and breakdowns and audits for civil and new building projects.

Our large in-house resource is capable of delivering all your electrical and communication installation needs for large scale development projects covering private or public building, mining, industrial and civil works.

AutoMAtionWesco provides an extensive building automation service using the latest technology. Lighting control and office systems can be integrated and controlled by one centralised automated system. You can integrate your boardroom AV equipment with lighting to improve efficiency and deliver a highly professional appearance.

Car dealerships to incorporate almost all LED lighting across their operation

• The purpose was to implement energy efficiency improvements throughout the dealership without any interruption to trading.

scope of Works• Complete the new construction while continuing to trade from the

“old’ showroom• Complete the build in 12 months• Provide all electrical services such as power, LED lighting, lighting

control, network & communication, fire and PA• Erect new car yard lighting poles and fitting of LED lighting.

Result• Wesco delivered two fully operational energy efficient car yards with

state of the art LED lighting.

cAsE studYTWO cAsE studY – gREAt EAstERn HWY

Background• The project was to supply and install street lighting & electrical

and communication services to a 4.2km stretch of road while it was being expanded to 6 lanes. Together with Main Roads and Leighton Contractors, Wesco completed all works in the scheduled time frame.

Scope of Works• Time frame was to complete the highway by Feb 2013• Road to remain open to vehicles, working in high traffic areas• Installation of temporary street lighting• Relocating and installation of new lighting and communications pits• Accommodation works (electrical and communication works) to all

businesses along this stretch to keep them operational.

Result• Magnificent new six lane stretch of road with double sided

lighting and median strip containing essential services such as power and communications.

House, has been transformed into a modern day dining and car precinct in the Perth CBD.

Scope of Works• Redevelop the heritage listing building to accommodate bar and

dining facilities• Work to restricted hours and low level slab thickness• Work in with contractors to install electrical services such as

lighting, power and data communications• Controlled lighting system that integrates seamlessly.

Result• Award winning four level dining and bar precinct in the centre

of Perth City• Multiple bars and restaurants all networked under one roof • Historical building with the original Atrium centre and the

newspaper stories all over the walls.
