Proud to be working at the forefront of the energy industry, Rural Energy have been designing, installing and maintaining low carbon solutions for commercial and industrial sites throughout the UK since 2002. Rural Energy is a business which is majority owned by the Wates family who also own Wates Construction and Shepherd Engineering Services. Rural Energy sits within the Myriad CEG Group Ltd and trades alongside Myriad Heat & Power Products; a specialist distributor of low carbon technologies including biomass heating, natural gas CHP, solid biomass gasification CHP and also biomass CHP. With an established history in biomass we have grown from a regional supplier to a national player, providing solid solutions for sustainable design in both heat and power products.

We support our customers from initial project feasibility and design through to installation and maintenance, helping businesses reduce both their energy use and their carbon. We have built up a wealth of experience with a portfolio of

hundreds of prestigious projects, having completed over 1,500 projects and installing over 300 MW across the UK.

Our highly skilled and dedicated team offers a unique blend of knowledge and experience and has the capability to meet the challenges associated with complex sustainable design; delivering systems that range from 200kW to 10MW.

Technical Design EngineeringEach one of our projects is different and every client presents us with a fresh challenge. Our in-house design team creates turnkey, low carbon solutions for projects ranging from district heating schemes to packaged plant rooms, and apartment block retrofits to energy centres. Using the latest cutting edge software they work together with our technical sales team, project management team and the client to provide bespoke 3D CAD technical drawings (BIM compliant), viability calculations, emissions modelling and specification advice.

Myriad Plant Room ServicesOur dedicated service team stretches the full breadth of the UK. They offer end users full telephone technical support via a helpdesk of experienced troubleshooting engineers plus onsite support through regional service and maintenance engineers. Dealing with everything from helping the hundreds of clients who take out service and maintenance contracts with us every year, to arranging remote monitoring, we ensure our clients systems continue to operate efficiently.

Project ManagementEach scheme we undertake has a dedicated project manager at its heart. Supporting the logistics, full site coordination, installation and comissioning - our project managers will support your project to ensure it runs smoothly from day one.

We are at home working in partnership with large contractors and consultants and have overseen and coordinated the construction of purpose built energy centres, plant rooms and fuel stores.
