Remove the machine from its packaging close tothe final location of the machine.

1. Cut carefully around the base of thepackaging and up one corner.

2. Remove the polythene sleeve and lift thedryer off the polystyrene base.

Unpacking the product

Dispose of the packaging safely. Makesure it is out of the reach of children,

it is a potential source of danger.

Safety remindersInstallation Check that the product has no visible signs of damage before use. If damaged do

not use and please call GIAS Service. Do not use adapters, multiple connectors and/or extensions. Never install the dryer against curtains and be sure to prevent items from falling

or collecting behind the dryer. The appliance must not be installed behind a lockable door, a sliding door or a

door with a hinge on the opposite side to that of the tumble dryer.

Use This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with

reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience andknowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerninguse of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. WARNING Misuse of a tumble dryer may create a fire hazard. This machine is solely for domestic use, i.e. to dry household textiles and garments. This machine should only be used for its intended purpose as described in this

manual. Ensure that the instructions for installation and use are fully understoodbefore operating the appliance.

Do not touch the appliance when hands or feet are damp or wet. Do not lean on the door when loading the machine or use the door to lift or

move the machine. Do not allow children to play with the machine or its controls. WARNING Do not use the product if the fluff filter is not in position or is

damaged; fluff could be ignited. WARNING Where the hot surface symbol is located the temperature rise

during operation of the tumble dryer may be in excess of 60 degrees C. Remove the plug from the electricity supply. Always remove the plug before

cleaning the appliance. Do not continue to use this machine if it appears to be faulty. Lint and fluff must not be allowed to collect on the floor around the outside of

the machine. The drum inside may be very hot. Always allow the dryer to complete the cool

down period before removing the laundry.

The Laundry Do not dry unwashed items in the tumble dryer. WARNING Do not tumble dry fabrics treated with dry cleaning fluids. WARNING Foam rubber materials can, under certain circumstances, when heated

become ignited by spontaneous combustion. Items such as foam rubber (latexfoam), shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber backed articles and clothes orpillows fitted with foam rubber pads MUST NOT be dried in the tumble dryer.

Always refer to the laundry care labels for directions on suitability for drying.

Clothes should be spin dried or thoroughly wrung before they are put into thetumble dryer. Clothes that are dripping wet should NOT be put into the dryer.

Lighters and matches must not be left in pockets and NEVER use flammableliquids near the machine.

Glass fibre curtains should NEVER be put in this machine. Skin irritation mayoccur if other garments are contaminated with the glass fibres.

Items that have been soiled with substances such as cooking oil, acetone, alcohol,petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes and wax removers should bewashed in hot water with an extra amount of detergent before being dried inthe tumble dryer.

Fabric softeners, or similar products, should be used as specified by the fabricsoftener instructions.

Environmental Issues All packaging materials used are environmentally-friendly and recyclable. Please

help dispose of the packaging via environmentally-friendly means. Your localcouncil will be able to give you details of current means of disposal.

To ensure safety when disposing of an old tumble dryer disconnect the mainsplug from the socket, cut the mains power cable and destroy this together withthe plug. To prevent children shutting themselves in the machine break the doorhinges or the door lock.

Electrical requirementsTumble dryers are supplied to operate at avoltage of 230V, 50 Hz single phase. Check thatthe supply circuit is rated to at least 10A.

Electricity can be extremely dangerous.

This appliance must be earthed.

The socket outlet and the plug on the appliancemust be of the same type.

Do not use multiple adapters and/or extensionleads.

The plug should be accessible for disconnectionafter the appliance has been installed.

The wires in the mains lead are coloured inaccordance with the following codes:

Green and Yellow EARTH

CE Appliance complies with European Directive89/336/EEC, 73/23/EEC and subsequent amendments.

Adjusting the feetOnce the machine is in place the feet should beadjusted to ensure that the machine is level.

Adequate ventilation must be provided in theroom where the tumble dryer is located toprevent gases from appliances burning otherfuels, including open fires, being drawn into theroom during operation of the tumble dryer.

Exhaust air must not be discharged into aflue which is used for exhausting fumesfrom appliances burning gas or other fuels.

Check regularly that the air flowing throughthe dryer is not restricted.

Check the fluff filter after use, and clean, ifnecessary.

The inlet and outlets should be kept freefrom obstructions. To ensure adequateventilation the space between the bottomof the machine and the floor must not beobstructed. There should be a gap of atleast 12mm between the machine and anyobstructions.

Prevent items from falling or collectingbehind the dryer as these may obstruct theair inlet and outlet.

NEVER install the dryer up against curtains.

Before using the tumble dryer for the first time:

Please read this instruction book thoroughly. Remove all items packed inside drum. Wipe the inside of the drum and door with

a damp cloth to remove any dust which mayhave settled in transit.

Clothes preparationMake sure that the laundry you are going to dryis suitable for drying in a tumble dryer, as shownby the care symbols on each item.

Check that all fastenings are closed and thatpockets are empty. Turn the articles inside out.Place clothes loosely in the drum to make surethat they don't get tangled.

Sort the load as follows: By care symbols

If the item does not have a care label itmust be assumed that it is not suitablefor tumble drying.

By amount and thicknessWhenever the load is bigger than the dryercapacity, separate clothes according tothickness (e.g. towels from thin underwear).

By type of fabricCottons/linen: Towels, cotton jersey, bed andtable linen.

Do not tumble dry:Woollens, silk, delicate fabrics, nylon stockings,delicate embroidery, fabrics with metallicdecorations, garments with PVC or leathertrimmings, training shoes, bulky items such assleeping bags, etc.

Energy savingOnly put into the tumble dryer laundry which hasbeen thoroughly wrung or spin-dried. The drierthe laundry the shorter the drying time thussaving electricity.

ALWAYS Try to dry the maximum weight of laundry,

this will save time and electricity.

Check that the filter is clean before everydrying cycle.

NEVER Exceed the maximum weight, this will waste

time and electricity.

Put dripping wet items into the tumbledryer, this may damage the appliance.

When the programme is selected the indicator will flash, when theprogramme starts the indicator will light up.

Selecting a Programme

The Candy Sensor Dry machine gives many options for drying the laundry tosuit all circumstances.

The table on the next page lists the programmes and the function of eachprogramme.

Note: The sensor may not detect a small load of small articles. For small loadsand separate items or pre-dried fabrics with low moisture content, use thetimed programmes. Set the programme between 30 and 75 minutesdepending on the load size and dryness required, and select high or low heatdepending upon the fabric type.

If the sensor does not detect the item the dryer will only operate for 10minutes before going into cooldown.

If the load is too large or too wet to tumble dry the dryer will automaticallygo into cooldown after approximately 3 hours.

DescriptionSelect the degree of dryness that you require.This ranges from for bath towels and bathrobes,through for items that will be put away withoutironing, to the programme that leaves the laundrysuitable for ironing.

A gentle programme specially created to get woollenssofter after air-drying.This delicate warm air cycle, lasting 12 minutes, canalso be used to get woollens 'refreshed' after beingstored in the wardrobe.

The programme provides a conditioning andanticrease function. The dryer will heat the load for 9minutes followed by a 3 minute cool down period andis especially good for garments which may have beenleft for some time prior to ironing, in a linen basket forexample. Garments may also become stiffened whendried outside on a washing line or inside on radiators.This programme relaxes the creases in the fabricmaking ironing quicker and easier.

The 40 Rapido programme allows a drying cycle to becompleted quickly. This is an ideal programme forhaving dry, refreshed and ready-to-wear clothes in lessthan 40'. This special programme constantly monitorsthe dryness and temperature in the drum thanks to thesensor using, using the exact time and energy youneed! The machine finishes the cycle when thecupboard dry level is reached. The stated cycle lengthcould vary according to fabric types, load size andresidual moisture in the garments.The maximum load is 2kg and the programme issuitable for all types of fabric where tumble drying isappropriate.

Opening the doorPull on handle to open the door.

To restart the dryer, close the door and pressStart/Pausa.

FilterIMPORTANT: To maintain the efficiency of thedryer check that the fluff filter is clean beforeeach drying cycle.

1. Pull the filter upwards.

2. Open filter as shown.

3. Gently remove lint using a soft brush oryour fingertips.

4. Snap the filter together and push back intoplace.

Filter Care Indicatorlights when the filter needs cleaning.

If the laundry is not drying check that the filter isnot clogged.

WARNING!

When the tumble dryer is in use thedrum and door may be VERY HOT.Never stop a tumble dryer beforethe end of the drying cycle unlessall items are quickly removed and

spread out so that the heat isdissipated.

The water removed from the laundry during thedrying cycle is collected in a container at thebottom of the dryer.

When the container is full the indicator onthe control panel will light, and the containerMUST be emptied. However, we recommend thatthe container is emptied after each drying cycle.

NOTE: Very little water will collect during thefirst few cycles of a new machine as an internalreservoir is filled first.

To remove the container1. Gently pull the bottom of the kickplate so

that it unclips from the dryer. The topsection can then be unhinged allowing thekickplate to be completely removed.

2. Pull firmly on the handgrip and slide thewater container out of the dryer.

Support the container with both hands. Whenfull, the water container will weigh about 4kg.

3. Open the lid located on the top of thecontainer and empty the water.

4. Refit the lid and slide the water containerback into position. PUSH FIRMLY INTOPLACE.

5. Refit the kickplate by engaging the hingesat the top and 'snapping' the lower clipsinto place.

Important: Always switch off and remove theplug from the electricity supply beforecleaning the condenser.

To maintain the efficiency of the dryer regularlycheck that the condenser is clean.

To remove thecondenser1. Remove the kickplate (see page 15).

2. Turn the two locking levers anti-clockwiseand pull out the condenser.

3. Pull out the condenser unit.

4. Gently remove any dust or fluff with acloth, then wash the unit by holding itunder a running tap turning it so thatwater flows between the plates, toremove any dust or fluff.

5. Refit the condenser ensuring it is in thecorrect way (as indicated by the arrow)and pushed firmly into place. Lock thetwo levers by turning them clockwise.

6. Refit the kickplate.

Operation1. Open the door and load the drum with

laundry. Ensure that garments do not hinderclosure of the door.

2. Gently close the door pushing it slowly untilyou hear the door 'click' shut.

3. Turn the Programme Selector dial to selectthe required drying programme (seeProgramme Guide).

4. If drying synthetics, acrylics or delicate items,press the Delicados button to reduce theheat level. The light next to the push button will lightup when the machine is in low heat setting.To deselect in the first few minutes of theprogramme, press the Delicados button, afterthis time reset the machine to change thesetting.

5. Press the Start/Pausa button. The dryer willstart automatically and the indicator willbe continuously lit.

6. If the door is opened during the programmeto check the laundry, it is necessary to press Start/Pausa to recommence drying after thedoor has been closed.

7. When the cycle is nearing completion themachine will enter the cool down phase, theclothes will be tumbled in cool air allowingthe load to cool down.

8. When the programme is complete theindicator will light.

9. Following the completion of the cycle thedrum will rotate intermittently to minimizecreasing. This will continue until the machineis switched OFF or the door is opened.

Cancelling and resetting theprogrammeTo cancel a programme press the Start/Pausa button for 3 seconds. The DRYlight will flash to indicate that it has been reset.

Delay Start The Delay Start Function (Inicio Diferido) allows the user to delay the start ofthe drying cycle by 3, 6 or 9 hours.When the function is first selected the display will show a delay of 3 hours,subsequent presses of the button will increase the delay to 6 or 9 hours. To commence the programme press Start/Pausa and the appliance willcomplete the drying cycle at the end of this time. The 3, 6 or 9 hour indicatorlight will flash to indicate that the start delay is in progress.

Cleaning the dryer Clean the filter and empty the water

container after every drying cycle. Regularly clean the condenser. After each period of use, wipe the inside of

the drum and leave the door open for awhile to allow circulation of air to dry it.

Wipe the outside of the machine and thedoor with a soft cloth.

DO NOT use abrasive pads or cleaningagents.

To prevent the door sticking or the build upof fluff periodically clean the inner door andgasket with a damp cloth.

What might be the cause of...Defects you can remedy yourselfBefore calling GIAS Service for technical advice please run through thefollowing checklist. A charge will be made if the machine is found to beworking or has been installed incorrectly or used incorrectly. If the problempersists after completing the recommended checks, please call GIAS Service,they may be able to assist you over the telephone.

Drying time is too long/clothes are not dry enough Have you selected the correct drying time/programme? Were the clothes too wet? Were the clothes thoroughly wrung or spin-

dried? Does the filter need cleaning? Does the condenser need cleaning? Is the dryer overloaded? Are the inlets, outlets and base of the dryer free from obstructions? Has the Delicados option been selected from a previous cycle?

No siga usando esta mquina si pareciera tener algn desperfecto. No hay que dejar que se acumulen lanilla y pelusas en el suelo alrededor de la mquina. El tambor interior puede calentarse mucho. Antes de retirar la ropa de la mquina, siempre

deje que sta termine de enfriarse.

La colada No utilice la secadora con prendas que no haya lavado. ADVERTENCIA No debe usarse para secar tejidos tratados con lquidos para limpieza en

seco. ADVERTENCIA Los materiales de gomaespuma, en algunas circunstancias, pueden arder por

combustin espontnea si se calientan. Los artculos como gomaespuma (espuma de ltex),los gorros de ducha, los tejidos impermeables a base de goma, as como las almohadas o lasprendas de gomaespuma NO DEBEN secarse en la secadora.

Consulte siempre las etiquetas sobre lavado de las prendas para conocer si se pueden secaren secadora.

Antes de introducir ropa en la secadora, aqulla debe centrifugarse o escurrirse bien. Lasprendas que escurren agua NO deben introducirse en la secadora.

Deben sacarse de los bolsillos encendedores y cerillas y no se deben NUNCA usar lquidosinflamables cerca de la mquina.

No se deben introducir NUNCA cortinas de fibra de vidrio en esta mquina. Puedeproducirse irritacin de la piel si otras prendas se contaminan con fibras de vidrio.

Las prendas que se hayan ensuciado con sustancias como aceite de cocina, acetona, alcohol,gasolina, queroseno, limpiamanchas, trementina, ceras y limpiadores de ceras deben lavarseen agua caliente con una cantidad extra de detergente antes de introducirse en lasecadora.

Los suavizantes de tejidos y los productos similares pueden utilizarse siguiendo lasinstrucciones del suavizante.

Temas medioambientales Todos los materiales de embalaje utilizados son ecolgicos y reciclables. Por favor deshgase

de los materiales de embalaje por medios ecolgicos. Su ayuntamiento podr informarle delos medios actuales de desecho.

Por razones de seguridad cuando se deseche una secadora, desenchufe el cable elctrico dela toma general, corte el cable y destryalo junto con el enchufe. Para evitar que los niosse queden encerrados en la mquina, rompa las bisagras o la cerradura de la puerta.

Servicio tcnico de GIAS Para que esta mquina siga funcionando de modo seguro y eficiente, recomendamos que

La electricidad puede ser muy peligrosa.

Este electrodomstico debe conectarse a tierra.

La toma de corriente y el enchufe del electrodomsticodeben ser del mismo tipo.

Debe asegurarse una ventilacin adecuada en la saladonde est ubicada la secadora para evitar que losgases de aparatos que quemen otros combustibles,incluyendo llamas abiertas, entren en la sala cuando seest usando la secadora.

El aire extrado no debe descargarse dentro de unconducto que sea utilizado para expulsar humosde aparatos que quemen gas u otroscombustibles.

Compruebe peridicamente que no est obstruidoel paso de la corriente de aire a travs de lasecadora.

Despus de usar la mquina, revise el filtro depelusas y lmpielo si es necesario.

Las tomas y salidas deben no deben tenerobstrucciones. Para que haya suficienteventilacin, no debe haber ningn obstculo en elespacio que se encuentra entre la base de lamquina y el suelo. Debera haber una separacinde, al menos, 12 mm entre la mquina y cualquierobstculo.

Procure que no caigan objetos ni se acumulendetrs de la mquina, ya que stos puedenobstruir la entrada y salida de aire.

Antes de usar por primera vez la secadora:

Por favor lea con atencin las instrucciones deeste manual.

Retire todos los artculos que haya guardado en elinterior del tambor.

Con un trapo hmedo, limpie el interior deltambor y de la puerta para quitar el polvo quepueda haberse depositado durante el traslado.

Clasifique la carga de lasiguiente manera: Segn los smbolos de cuidado

Usar secadora solamente a baja temperatura.

Si el artculo no tiene etiqueta de cuidado, sedebe presuponer que no es apropiado parasecadora.

Segn la cantidad y el grosorCuando la cantidad del material para secar seamayor que la capacidad de la secadora, separe laropa de acuerdo a su espesor (por ej. separe lastoallas de la ropa interior fina).

No secar en secadora:Prendas de lana, seda, telas delicadas, medias de nylon,bordados delicados, tela con adornos metlicos, prendascon guarniciones de PVC o de cuero, zapatillas dedeporte, piezas voluminosas como sacos de dormir, etc.

Ahorro de energaSe deben poner en la secadora solamente artculos quese hayan escurrido bien o que se hayan centrifugado. Amenos humedad que tengan las prendas que se han desecar, ms corto ser el tiempo de secado, lo cualahorrar energa elctrica.

SIEMPRE Procure secar el mximo peso permitido de

prendas, para economizar tiempo y energa.

Compruebe que el filtro est limpio antes deiniciar el ciclo de secado.

NUNCA Debe excederse del peso mximo, porque de

hacerlo malgastara tiempo y energa elctrica.

Introduzca en la secadora artculos que chorreenagua, porque se puede daar el aparato.

Seleccin del programa

La secadora Candy Sensor Dry ofrece muchas opciones para secar la colada y adaptarse a

todas las circunstancias.

En la siguiente tabla se enumeran los programas y la funcin de cada programa.

Nota: Es posible que el sensor no detecte una pequea cantidad de piezas pequeas.

Para cantidades pequeas y piezas separadas o telas previamente secadas que contienen

poca humedad, utilice los programas de duracin controlada. Ajuste el programa entre

30 y 75 minutos segn la cantidad de piezas que se quiere secar y el grado de secado

requerido, y seleccione temperatura alta o baja, dependiendo del tipo de tela.

Si el sensor no detecta la pieza, la secadora slo funcionar durante 10 minutos antes de

entrar en la etapa de enfriamiento.

Si la carga es excesiva o las prendas estn demasiado mojadas para secar en la secadora,

sta entrar automticamente en la etapa de enfriamiento despus de

aproximadamente 3 horas.

Seleccione el nivel de secado requerido.Abarca desde para toallas de bao y albornoces hastapara artculos que se vayan a guardar sin planchar, hasta elprograma que deja la colada lista para planchar.

Un programa delicado especialmente creado para que lasprendas de lana queden ms suaves despus del secado poraire.Este ciclo de aire caliente delicado, que dura 12 minutos,tambin se puede utilizar para "refrescar" las prendas de lanadespus de haber estado guardadas en el armario.

El programa tiene una funcin de acondicionamiento yantiarrugas. Con esta funcin, la secadora calienta la ropadurante 9 minutos y luego la enfra durante 3 minutos, lo cuales especialmente apropiado para prendas que se hayandejado durante algn tiempo antes de plancharlas, en uncesto de la ropa, por ejemplo. Cuando se ha secado la ropafuera, en una cuerda o en radiadores dentro de la casa,tambin a veces se pone rgida. Este programa afloja lasarrugas de la ropa, por lo cual se hace ms fcil y ms rpidoel trabajo de planchar.

El programa 40' Rapido permite realizar el ciclo de secadorpidamente. Es un programa ideal para conseguir que laropa est seca, fresca y lista para poner en menos de 40. Esteprograma particular controla constantemente la sequedad y latemperatura en el tambor gracias a un censor, lo que haceque utilice el tiempo y la energa exactos que usted necesita.La mquina acaba el ciclo cuando se alcanza el nivel de listopara guardar. La duracin del ciclo indicada podra variardependiendo de los tipos de tejido, el volumen de carga y lahumedad residual de las prendas.La carga mxima es de 2kg y el programa es adecuado paratodos los tipos de tejido que puedan secarse en la secadora.

1. Tire del filtro hacia arriba.

2. Abra el filtro de la manera sealada.

3. Saque las pelusas usando un cepillo suave o con lapunta de los dedos.

4. Rearme el filtro, acoplndolo con un golpe seco, yempjelo nuevamente a su sitio.

Si las prendas no se secan, verifique que no se hayaobstruido el filtro.

Puerta y filtro

AVISO!

Cuando la secadora est en uso, puedeque el tambor y la puerta SE CALIENTEN

MUCHO. Nunca detenga la secadoraantes de finalizar

el ciclo de secado. Si lo hace extraigarpidamente todas las prendas y

extindalas para que se disipe el calor.

El agua que se saca de la ropa durante el ciclo desecado se recoge en un recipiente que se encuentra enel fondo de la secadora.

Cuando el depsito est lleno, se ilumina el indicadordel panel de control, y, SIN FALTA, hay que vaciar

el depsito. Sin embargo, recomendamos vaciar elrecipiente despus de cada ciclo de secado.

NOTA: Durante los primeros ciclos de una mquinanueva se amontonar muy poca agua, ya que primerose llena un tanque interno.

Modo de sacar elrecipiente1. Tire cuidadosamente de la parte inferior del

protector para desengancharlo de la secadora. Acontinuacin se puede abrir la parte superior,permitiendo sacar completamente el protector.

2. Tire firmemente de la empuadura y saque elrecipiente para agua, deslizndolo para retirarlode la secadora.

Sostenga el recipiente con ambas manos. Cuando eldepsito del agua est lleno, pesa alrededor de 4 kg.

3. Abra la tapa que se encuentra en la partesuperior del depsito, y vace el agua.

4. Vuelva a poner la tapa de nuevo y reinstale elrecipiente para agua, deslizndolo hasta queentre en su posicin. PRESINELO FIRMEMENTEHASTA QUE ENTRE EN SU POSICIN.

5. Vuelva a instalar el protector acoplando losgoznes de la parte superior y haciendo que losganchos de abajo entren en posicin de un golpeseco.

IMPORTANTE: Antes de limpiar el condensador,

siempre debe apagar el suministro de electricidad y

sacar el enchufe del tomacorriente.

Para que la secadora siga funcionando de modo

eficiente, revise el condensador peridicamente para

constatar si est limpio.

Modo de sacar elcondensador1. Saque la plancha protectora (consulte la

pgina 35).

2. Haga girar las dos palancas de sujecin hacia la

izquierda y extraiga el condensador.

3. Saque el condensador.

4. Con un trapo saque con cuidado el polvo o

lanilla, y luego lave la unidad sostenindola en

el chorro de agua del grifo, y hgala girar para

que el agua corra entre las placas, para sacar el

polvo o lanilla que stas puedan tener.

5. Vuelva a instalar el condensador, cuidando de

presionarlo de la manera correcta (segn

indica la flecha) hasta que quede en su

posicin. Trabe las dos palancas hacindolas

girar hacia la derecha.

6. Vuelva a instalar el protector.

Funcionamiento1. Abra la puerta e introduzca la ropa en el tambor,

cuidando de que aqulla no estorbe al cerrar lapuerta.

2. Cierre la puerta suavemente, empujndolalentamente hasta que oiga un ruido de 'clic'.

3. Gire el indicador selector de programa paraseleccionar el programa de secado requerido(consulte la Gua de programas).

4. Para secar fibras sintticas, acrlicas o piezasdelicadas, presione el botn Delicados para bajarla temperatura. La luz junto al botn se encender cuando lamquina tenga seleccionada la temperatura baja.Para deseleccionar durante los primeros minutosdel programa, presione el botn Delicados,despus de este periodo, ponga a cero la mquinapara cambiar la posicin.

5. Presione el botn Start/Pausa. La secadora se poneen marcha automticamente y el indicadorest continuamente encendido.

6. Si se abre la puerta durante el programa paraverificar la colada, es necesario presionarStart/Pausa para volver a comenzar el secado unavez que se haya cerrado la puerta.

7. Cuando el ciclo est a punto de terminar, lamquina entra en la etapa de enfriamiento y laropa gira en aire fro, permitiendo que la colada seenfre.

8. Al finalizarse el programa, se enciende el indicador.

9. Tras finalizar el ciclo, el tambor seguir girandointermitentemente para minimizar las arrugas. Esteproceso continuar hasta que se apague lamquina o se abra la puerta.

Cancelacin y restablecimiento delprogramaPara cancelar un programa, presione el botn Start/Pausa durante 3 segundos. La luz deDRY parpadear para indicar que se ha puesto a cero.

Inicio DiferidoLa funcin Inicio Diferido permite al usuario retrasar el inicio del ciclo de secado entre 3,6 y 9 horas.

Cuando la funcin se selecciona por primera vez, la pantalla muestra un retraso de 3horas; las siguientes pulsaciones del botn aumentan el retraso hasta 6 y 9 horas.

Para comenzar el programa, presione Start/Pausa y el electrodomstico completar elciclo de secado al final de este tiempo. La luz del indicador de 3, 6 o 9 horas parpadearpara indicar que el inicio diferido est en curso.

Limpieza de la secadora Despus de cada ciclo de secado, limpie el filtro y

vace el depsito del agua.

Limpie el condensador con regularidad. Despus de usar la secadora, pase un trapo por el

interior del tambor y deje la puerta abiertadurante un rato para permitir que circule el airepara secarla.

Con un trapo suave, limpie la parte exterior de lamquina y la puerta.

NO use almohadillas abrasivas ni productos delimpieza.

Para evitar que la puerta quede pegada o que seacumule pelusa, se debe limpiar la puerta internay la junta con un trapo hmedo.

Se cobrar el servicio tcnico siresulta que la mquina funciona correctamente, o si ha sido instalada o utilizadaincorrectamente. El tiempo de secado es excesivamente largo/la ropano se seca suficientemente Ha seleccionado el tiempo de secado/programa correcto? Estaba la ropa demasiado mojada? La ropa fue bien estrujada o centrifugada? Hace falta limpiar el filtro? Hace falta limpiar el condensador? Se ha sobrecargado la secadora? Las tomas y salidas de aire y la base de la secadora estn libres, sin obstculos? Se tiene todava seleccionada la opcin Delicados de un ciclo anterior?

La secadora no funciona Est funcionando el suministro de electricidad hacia la secadora? Comprubelo

con otro aparato como una lmpara de mesa. El enchufe est correctamente conectado al suministro de la red? Se ha cortado la electricidad? Se ha quemado el fusible? La puerta est completamente cerrada? La secadora est encendida, tanto en el suministro de electricidad como en la

mquina? Se ha seleccionado el programa o el tiempo de secado? Se ha encendido la mquina despus de abrir la puerta? La secadora ha dejado de funcionar porque el depsito del agua est lleno y hay

que vaciarlo?

La secadora hace mucho ruido Apague la secadora y pngase en contacto con el Servicio tcnico de GIAS para

obtener asesora.
