On the last day of school before Christmas vacation, we will be having a Christmas gift exchange and party. Our class exchanges names and gifts. They will be doing a drawing to get the name of the stu- dent they will buy a gift for. This name should be kept a secret from everyone EXCEPT parents so they can try to guess who their gift is from before they open them during the party. We will also be asking each student to bring in some treat for the class to munch on after the gift exchange. Be sure to check the letter going home today for more details. JESUS is everywhere . . .

JESUS is an ever present help . . .

JESUS supplies all your needs . . .

JESUS lets you rest in His arms . . .

JESUS has a heart full of love . . .

JESUS offers health, help and hope . . .

JESUS stands at your door and knocks, and

then enters your heart when you invite Him in . . .

JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water . . .

JESUS is as close as the mention of His name . . .

JESUS knew our name before we did.

Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too.

He knows our history and future and He even knows

how many hairs are on our heads . . .

JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you" . . .

JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts,

repairs broken homes and builds mansions . . .

JESUS gives you joy that is your strength . . .

JESUS became our gift and died on a tree . . .

Jesus is , has been, and always will be . . .

It's obvious there is really no comparison.

We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.

WHY JESUS IS BETTER

Santa lives at the North Pole.

Santa comes but once a year.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies.

You have to wait in line to see Santa.

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly.

Santa offers just a “HO! HO! HO!”

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited.

Santa rides in a sleigh.

Santa lets you sit on his lap …

Santa doesn't know your name,

all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, what's your name?."

Santa says "You better not cry".

Santa's little helpers make toys.

Santa may make you chuckle.

Santa puts gifts under your tree.

Santa is not real, has never been and was invented by people.

Yes, Jesus is better.

He is much better than Santa Claus.
