This is a Chinese Zodiac. It tells you what animal is for each year.

2011 is the year of the rabbit.

These are red envelopes. After everybody eats they each get one envelope and each one has some gold coins.

On Chinese New Year people may not sweep , dust ,or use anything to clean because it is bad luck.

We are not suppose to wash our hair because it would mean we would have washed away good luck for the New Year.

On Chinese New Year people eat a vegetarian called jai. These are made out of vegetables.
