ABSTRACT

This application provides an online platform for the users to book appointment with the doctors who are available in nearby location, since the application is hosted in an online workspace it makes it easy for the users to view the complete doctor’s profile and reviews about the doctor to book appointments in prior on their phones or computers from their home or any other preferred media, eliminating the need to visit the doctor’s place.

In the existing system people manually visit and search for the best medical services offered by any doctors, ask for referrals to known people and it is difficult for them to schedule their work according to the timings of the particular doctor.

To overcome the stated problems, we have designed and developed the proposed application in such as way that enables user to manually search and visit for the best doctor nearby, ask for referrals to known people and schedule their appointment date and time according to patient’s availability.

The registered user will also be able to have their records maintained along with their medical history and can share the same reports with the doctor and get consultation when in need so that it makes it easy, both for doctors and users.

With the features such as 3d Virtual tour users would be able to closely pay attention about the clinic and all the other features provided by doctor as well as the clinic. Google map's service would help users to reach to the doctor with easy without having to worry about the location and locality of the doctor.

With features such as doctor at home, The elderly, person staying alone or the seriously person would be getting healed at home , rather than having to worry about how to reach to the doctor.

CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION1.1 INDUSTRY PROFILE

1. Digital marketing is an umbrella term for the marketing of products or services using digital technologies, mainly on the Internet, but also including mobile phones, display advertising, and any other digital medium.

2. The way in which digital marketing has developed since the 1990s and 2000s has changed the way brands and businesses utilize technology and digital marketing for their marketing.[2] Digital marketing campaigns are becoming more prevalent as well as efficient, as digital platforms are increasingly incorporated into marketing plans and everyday life,[3]and as people use digital devices instead of going to physical shops.

3. Digital marketing such as search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), content marketing, influencer marketing, content automation, campaign marketing, and e-commerce marketing, social media marketing, social media optimization, e-mail direct marketing, display advertising, e–books, optical disks and games, are becoming more and more common in our advancing technology. In fact, this extends to non-Internet channels that provide digital media, such as mobile phones (SMS and MMS), callback and on-hold mobile ring tones.

HistoryThe term digital marketing was first used in the 1990s,[7] but digital marketing has roots in the mid-1980s when the Soft Ad Group, now Channel Net, developed advertising campaigns for

automobile companies, wherein people would send in reader reply cards found in magazines and receive in return floppy disks that contained multimedia content promoting various cars and offering free test drives.

Digital marketing became more sophisticated in the 2000s and the 2010s, the proliferation of devices' capability access digital media at almost any given time has led to great growth of digital advertising; statistics produced in 2012 and 2013 showed that digital marketing was still a growing field.

Digital marketing is often referred to as 'online marketing', 'internet marketing' or 'web marketing'. The term digital marketing has grown in popularity over time, particularly in certain countries. In the USA, online marketing is still prevalent, in Italy is referred as web marketing but in the UK and worldwide, digital marketing has become the most common term, especially after the year 2013.

Digital media growth is estimated at 4.5 trillion online ads served annually with digital media spend at 48% growth in 2010. An increasing portion of advertising stems from businesses employing Online Behavioral Advertising (OBA) to tailor advertising for internet users, but OBA raises concern of consumer privacy and data protection.

1.3 PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Medictto is an online platform for booking appointments with Doctors. The proposed system aims at providing the heath related services at finger tips by allowing the users to book an appointment with the best Doctors around them. The proposed system can make huge impact on people's lives as it enables solution for most critical thing i.e. health related problems in a easy and much convenient manner. It allows the users of the portals to select the best Doctors and helps them view the profile of the Doctors online. There are many features in the proposed system which are unique and are public friendly.

The proposed system is completely based on Technology as it has the web-based application along with Android and IOS application. The users can get benefit with this amazing services anytime and anywhere. The proposed system strengthens the bonding and relationship between Doctors and Patients as it enables the one-to-one care and gives the complete focus of Doctors individually.

The Proposed system is the connecting point for patients and their preferred Doctors by allowing the patients to compare the Doctors by their consultation fee, their experience, their profile, their location, their availability, their expertise, their clinic infrastructure etc. Hence this proposed system can be considered as the best for every individual who would like to get the treatment from the best and satisfied Doctors at their own convenient time. This can change the medical industry standards and can make the huge impact on the existing system.

The proposed system does not just connect the Doctors and Patients but also connects the Hospitals, Labs and Clinics with Patients as it gives the option of selecting or booking appointment with all of the above. The system also shows the virtual tour of the infrastructure of

the clinics and hospital to all the users in order to update the patient about the hygiene of the places.

The proposed system equally helps its vendors i,e. Doctors to update the following details via the Doctor's App or Doctor's portal:

* Accept the bookings from the patients

* Update the medical reports in their web-based portal

* View the patient list

* View the Bookings well in advance.

The proposed system for its users (patients) include the following features:

* Can compare the consultation charges of the available Doctors

* Registered users can write the reviews about the Doctors and non-registered users can read the reviews

* Can cancel and reschedule the appointments

* Can receive the updates and notifications about their orders or bookings

CHAPTER 2

LITERATURE SURVEY

It's been said by so many people that “Health is Wealth “, By health we just not mean the absence of physical problems, but it’s a state of complete mental, physical and social well-being. The loss of health is enough to screw our happiness.

Doctor being a so important part of our day to day life , we need them more often than not , We are indeed so dependent to them that we talk, walk and dance Doctor.

According to the survey carried out by AIMS "the way the population of India is increasing , the major problem we will be fetching in near time is shortage of Good Doctors". Number of Doctors available in Karnataka as if now are 40000 , which is 1 Doctor per 100 people , which is relevantly better comparing to the situation in rest of India. But these many Doctors won't be enough to fulfill the needs of patient which is going to be ahead of them in 10 years from now.

At the very early stage of research we paid visit to so many Doctor’s , clinic and their respective patients and customer in order to cater the problems they face in their day to day life along with their advice what need to be done , or the changes they would like to have when it comes to their professional life and appointment booking and so on. So that we can come up with something which can make the life better not just for the Doctor but also of their patients .Ex The basic problem faced by most of the patients where shortage of Good and Specialist Doctor’s. And the basic reason being very few no of quality medical colleges ,huge course duration and on top of that course expenditure which private colleges asked for in order to cater the medical as well as instrumental requirement of medical student. Even after finishing off their medical they are not specialist to a particular genre and for getting their specialization done they further have to spend lakh’s of money together along with it they will be losing their precious time as well.

Till day there is no association of Doctors available in Karnataka which can cater the requirement of Doctors and let the world know about the condition of current Doctors in Karnataka. So looking into the condition of current medical situation we at Webheay came into the rescue and planned out do to something which was never done or thought of before.

2.1 EXISTING SYSTEM

WAITING TIME

The term waiting usually refers to the time from booking till the patient is being served by the Doctor. In the current existing system basically lacking behind in that . The time spam from booking of appointment till the time the patient is being served is too much.

UNAVAILABILITY OF DOCTOR ON TIME

In the current Doctor booking system , though the user can book the appointment but it doesn’t ensure any guaranty. The reason being the Doctor may not be keeping well on the given day or due to some personal issue he may fell to serve the patient on the given day and the patient may have to wait for further more day and take another appointment and have to wait till the other day. Human health is so sensitive it can't wait for so long and he may end up getting some serious health issue.

NO DOCTOR SERVICE AT HOME

Till time there is no application offering Doctor’s at your home step. According to survey carried out by the AIMS patients recover well when they are treated at home. So there is no need to go and visit a Doctor or hospital and get a feel of home when you can indeed be at home and get healed.

BOOKING OF HOSPITAL

Hospital is very important and integral part of medical care, any one of us may need it any time. so why not make it's available at any time they need.

When it Comes to maternity cases a mother may need at any time. And a medical help not received on time often leads to the death of baby or sometime of mother as well. And there is nothing more precious than life so why not safe a life and be a part of such generous cause.

MEDICINE REMINDER

We human beings are very much tend to forget things, we are so well exhausted in our day to day life that we sometimes we may forget to take our medicine, life being so precious. It's very significant to have it on time without further delay or skip, so why not make something which can remind us about our medicine or any stuff for that matter.

That’s were Medictto comes into picture it enables you to know the Doctor’s of your surrounding along with their profile with brief info about their education , specialization , experience and the reviews of their patients and rating so with all these info under your belt would petty much help you to find the Doctor of your wish and healed by the best into your locality.

NO MORE WAITING FOR DOCTOR

The proposed idea of our named application Medicitto is to design a app in such a way that allows you to be served by the Doctor on time. Which will help people to be served and healed at a early stage. Medical diagnosis at an early stage reduces the chances of being affected by some serious disease by 70 %.

DOCTOR AT HOME

Survey carried out at an early stage suggest that patient get healed faster and better when are given the homely kind of atmosphere that’s what is been done by most of the hospitals these days , but there is so much of difference among the term being at home and being given the homely atmosphere . so now get ready to be served at your home and have a quicker recovery .

With Medictto you can ask your Doctor for some of the toolkit you may wish to have or may need during or throughout your course.

GCM is a latest technology developed by goggle which serves as a intermediate between client application and server which in term reduce the burden of user to check out for the update or any kind of improvement done to it . It will not just save the users effort but also intern lead to the proper utilization of client device such as ram, battery and precious data packs. So whenever any changes are made to the app users get notified through a message.

2.2 FEASIBILITY STUDY

The feasibility study has a major role to play when it comes to analysis of system. In very early stages of Software development phase , It's of very much important to check whether the proposed system is feasible or not. There are 4 major aspects which we have to keep in mind while checking for feasibility.

In this technology driven society, where people are so emotionally driven by technology that right from waking up with mobile's alarm to setting up alarm at night we all are very much enclosed by mobile phones. With less no of physical activities and more no of unhealthy food we are very much prone of new and different kind of medical diseases .

The current climate in healthcare technology demands more efficiency and patients’ satisfaction in day to day medical care. The numbers of missed and delayed appointment caused not only unnecessary waste of patient time but have caused a major problem for healthcare institutions in recent times to medical institution such as (AIMS),(KIMS) are so many other. Hence, there is need to integrated healthcare system to intercede and provide relentless care for inpatients and outpatients. Therefore, an easily accessible appointment booking application lies as the intersection of providing efficient and timely access health sector . Outpatient online booking of appointment is a subject of great interest of hospitals and medical institutions.

The research on online appointment booking and scheduling of Doctor has a long history, which started with the origin of smart phones in India, The accessibility of smart phone to masses has made us think in that way. Starting with the research carried out by the student of the prestigious Manipal Hospital, Bangalore (2010). Their most famous result is the so-called Manipal Hospital appointment schedule, which states that patients should planned their appointment with the Doctor at list one week prior and should arrive on time else once the appointment is missed he again have to take an appointment which may be of a date later one week from the day he is taking appointment .and the patients wasn't enabled to have a appointment time and date of his own wish, as a result to that the patient arrives at the start of the day, and spent whole his day waiting for his appointment because of the fear of not loosing up his appointment with the Doctor.

The feasibility of a project is again further classified into few more sector which includes OPERATIONAL FEASIBILITY

The end users of our application Medictto would Patient , Hospital staff and Doctors who would like to get them self enrolled with us to feel more engaged and busy patient schedule at work . Access to our users have been made much easier by enabling the social log-in option i.e. face book log-in and Google log-in. users will be also able to search for the Doctor nearby to him or to the Doctor of his own wish ,based on specialization. The proposed system would do the ranking of the Doctors based on the reviews and feedback of the patients for easy access to the best Doctors out of the list of Doctors.

TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY

An independent application of Medictto is particularly dedicated to the end users such as patients , where he would be sign in to search the Doctor based on his specialization, take an appointment with the Doctor based on his own time convenience. The Doctor's App developed would mainly help the Doctors to manage appointments of their patients, view the past medical history if they are repeated patients and also manage their timeslots accordingly to their availability to make it easier for patients and enable them to book the appointments at their convenient available timeslot. The proposed system uses most of the available technique and technologies to build it hence making it more technically feasible and also by using the simple logics in the development of the project it makes it technical feasible for the developers who would be working on the project in future.

SCHEDULE FEASIBILITY

The official deadline to finish this project is by the end of six semester of MCA 2016 (May 23rd, 2016). Which is roughly three months from the time i have been handed over this project. First, thing which we have done right after given this project is to buy the domain name specific to the project because its take few times and a good domain name is not always available. The second thing which stuck in to my mind was to find the minimal solution of the problem keeping all the disadvantages of the existing system, and making a cool app which can assist and liked by the people of all ages. Before the start of project we have prepared Gantt Chart and divided the work flow according to that.

ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY

I being a full stack developer of the proposed project "Medictto" , have always tried to built this app from scratch using the minimal cost for development , so have always chosen or went after software's which are either available for free or are available at the minimal cost comparing to other. When it comes for the selection of IDE which is (Integrated Development Tool ) the obvious choice has to be Android Studio not because its free but also recommended and supported by goggle the IT Giant. Moreover when it comes to using the API and all we gets easy, fast and vast API support. When it comes to the testing tool which is basically a android mobile phone running the latest google support and updates.

Each project is unique in its own terms based in the problem that arises, the priorities in which resources are assigned and the environment in which it operates. Medictto is designed and developed for prepared for health sector .With the help of our application all the various department and aspects of health sector such as doctors, hospital and Patients can be assisted with the most precious and optimal solution for all the current problem faced by them. It can easily help the user by manage and maintain the report and record of each and every associated with it . This application is a good way of arranging the appointments, and managing the person details in the most efficient way.

Medicine reminder lets you have your medicine on time. You can manage your personal info online. You can also share your medical details at various sharing platform and lets other's be a part

of your happiness. Now you can also have a appointment with the doctor based on the hospital of your choice. You can view the availability of the doctor. Having the online details about all the patients , now the problem of missing appointment and

waste of user's precious time can be diminish.

With all such cool, helpful and user friendly functionality Medictto is a must have app for all your doctor related stuff.

3.3 NON FUNCTIONAL REQUIRMENT

It denotes about the attributes such as performance levels, security, as well as the various aspects namely usability ,reliability, availability and so on. habitually , requirement definition gets wrapped up in the way the application is expected to function and various fields attached to it. 

When Non functional Requirements are not addressed properly with keeping all details in mind, seemingly application fails to function the way it's expected to and which intern may lead to the insets of our end users and we may need to start the development one more time from the scratch.

Reliability is a major concern when it comes to the success of an application ,The application has to be a reliable one when it comes to get the user to our application and let them store and share their personal info stored with us . For the purpose of sending the data over the server we are taking use of HTTPS which is the most secure kind of Http protocol. Any reliability kind of issue won't take place during the lifecycle of our application . Every single data can be accessed and viewed soon after storing the data. Our application Medictto would ensure at least 99% up hosting during Web hosting sites.

EASY UPDATES

Ease of updating and prone of changes are very key aspects of any software development phase ,Making any changes or up gradation will not take much of our time , because of our easy development plan and in-depth knowledge about the concept. With the easy of hosting an application over goggle play store now you can easily submit your app and get the updated version of the app available at goggle play in few time.

PERFORMANCE AND SCALABILITY

Named project Medictto can be used by doctors, their patients and the hospital with which doctors are associated with. When it comes to the performance of the app being a web service enabled mobile application its very much light in nature and for the purpose of a faster and a less data consumption of mobile data we have taken use of the volley library which uses the cache for the purpose of storing data for the faster and easier data access. This application is very much

scalable in nature and its prone to any kind of scalable changes which is a boon for our app users we would be adding more and more features, city and chat facility with the doctors which will help users to get minor issue resolved by the doctor in a way which was never felt before.

SYSTEM DESIGN

4.1 SYSTEM PERSPECTIVE

Life is full of problem, isn't? All of us have tried to outfit certain problem just to find the solution of it. Solution to a problem is never as easy as we thought at very first place. This planet is very complicated and there is never a sole cause to any of the problem existing.

System perspective keeps track of all these complicated problem by back fire or by looking into all the possible factors which may contribute to the problem and importantly, Relationship between all these.

We can't generalize system components and their relationship to bephysically present objects. Each of us are a part of a large system universe but things like relationships, emotion, moral and others equally plays a very vital role in terms of the behavior of the system.

Booking a doctor is always a tedious thing to do , the reason being the unavailability of the doctor at patients convince , along with the feasibility of the doctor from the clients place, Health being a very integral, important, precious and unrecoverable thing people have to sacrifice or suffer with their day to day activities just to full fill one.

The increase no of miss appointment with the doctor is a big headache for the doctor and it's also resulting into a problem for patients who are in serious need of it , but are not able to book an appointment with the doctor because already all the time slots are been booked.

With number of doctor increasing day by day it's very hard to make a choice about the doctor to go with. Lack of prerequisite about the doctor we end up lending a appointment with someone who is not good enough for that which make us suffer more indeed.

The tedious work of maintaining a record manually sometime leads to a accidental lose of data which can't be recovered and all the personal and appointment details of a long run is often lost. The manual work also lead to its day to day calculation and maintains of the record on daily basic on several files. As we human beings are prone of mistake, We may end up making a mistake which may lead to a loss of life.

With lack of personal details about the patient and doctor often leads to a communication gap among them which sometime leads to a slower recovery due to some hesitation issue.

Process:  Testing is a step by step procedure than individual action.

Life Cycle: This is a continuous action that appears during the development phase and each

and every module's developed must be tested based on its functionality and user acceptance.

Static Testing :  Static Testing is very much important part of our testing life cycle as it

test ,find bugs and defects without having to execute the code. This is carried out all the

while during authentication and acceptance. It comprise judgment about documents such as

code as well as static breakdown. It is very efficient and optimized way of testing and

diminishing the bugs. Such as reviewing, inspection, walkthrough, etc.

INTEGRATION TESTING FOR MEDICTTO

Integration testing is a very essential phase of software testing it is a process of bringing together individually developed parts of the application into single application. Individually developed and tested modules are now integrated and tested as a full system. In this phase usually we come across different kind of problems such as different package name and machine compatibility which is because of different machine will have different sha1 key and we need to generate them one more time with the integrated system for the final time. The different types of api key generated once again while integrating are google api for map, google api for gcm ,goggle api for goggle+ login and facebook api key for enabling facebook plug-in for signup.

CONCLUSION With the successful completion and development of the project Medictto we were able to

meet the requirement specification lead during the very start of the project. With our android application Medictto our end-users are successfully able to search, find, book an appointment and reach to them in the most appropriate and easier way than ever. They are getting reminded about their schedule appointment with the doctor along with appointment number , doctor name, time slot chosen along with the consultation fee just before their appointment date.

With our special features medicine reminder now people are taking their medicine on time irrespective of their busy hectic work schedule people with memory problem or lesser knowledge are getting reminded about their medicine along with its picture so that they can take their proper medicine on time and get healed soon.

With the reminder message and a quick view is helping to reduce the number of missed appointment or appointment delays.

With the feature such as OTP while booking and appointment with the doctor the number of no-show up for appointment is helping the clinic and hospital which is indeed making good use of doctors precious time getting used in visiting patients which are in serious need of it.

Our application is enabling medical clinic and patients to computerizing their work which intern irrigates the manual effort and errors. Which is a great improvement over the traditional manual process.

By computerizing all the manual work there is a great improvement as far as the processing time is concern.

Our application takes care of most of the requirements of an average user and clinic and it provides easy and effective storage of data.

With so many specialist and experienced doctors getting associated with us. Which shows the success of our application, which is a prove that we have stick to our requirements and were able to meet the needs which users were looking for since so long.

FINDINGS & SUGGESTIONS: Proposed system Medictto is been design and developed in such as way that abolish all the current problem faced by the patient and doctor with the help of latest tool and technologies , But there are certain areas which are prone of certain changes which will be making in recent days to come.

Few of the future enhancement which users will be benefiting in recent times are as follows

Now Medictto is available either in a form of a website or an android application , In near future we are going to make an iOS application of it, so that we can reach to the maximum no of person. and most number of people can be benefited from it.

Medictto for the first few starting month would be in operation in Bangalore , which would later be expanded to pan India.

In near future Medictto users would be search for ambulance and can book it based on their own convenience.

E-consultancy with the doctors is something the users would be benefiting in days to come. In future our Medictto user would be able to purchase medicine just with few clicks and can

get it delivered at their door step with special offers in the form of discount or coupon . Now Medictto is available in a single language which is English, In recent time we would be

making it a multilingual one, So people from all region and different language can get benefited from it.

Customized family package would take care of all your family members at a very affordable rate. Which would make health care very easy and convenient .

We are trying to get tied up with insurance company so our app users would be getting insurance benefits which would a part of our future enhancement .
