Rationale for Business, Art & Technology
B.A.T. Year 7 & Year 8 Curriculum i. Provide generic skills such as critical thinking
skills which is a prerequisite upper secondary assessment standard and also as life skills.
ii. Project-based Learning helps student learn key academic content and practice 21st Century Skills (such as collaboration, communication and critical thinking)
iii. provide students with foundation skills in entrepreneurship, technology and creativity used as living skills before specialisation in
Year 9 to Year 10/11.

business and enterprise skills; demonstrate skills when using specific tools and
