yearrsquos Masters will be played at Asquith Golf Club on Friday 20th May Brekky BBQWhat a terrific morning it was last Friday for our first brekky BBQ of the year Itwas a fabulous opportunity to meet Bush School parents new and old Car MirrorsYet another school parent has reported to me that her carrsquos side mirror wassmashed on Water Street one afternoon Thank You TeachersOur many extra curricular groups including dance choir chess sports anddebating are only possible due to the kindshyheartedness and goodwill ofvolunteer teachers who are not at all remunerated or rewarded for giving uptheir own time to act as coaches choreographers conductors or coordinators

STEAMAs part of our School Plan Wahroonga Public School has been developing a strategy toimprove learning outcomes in the areas of Science Technology Engineering Arts andMathematics (STEAM)

Many parents have already participated in the Toy Survey to collect BIG DATA aboutToys (616 responses so far) Stage 1 students have been analysing this data andmaking conclusions based on evidence and research

Stage 2 have completed a HEAT quiz to check their understanding and misconceptionsabout Heat This will be available for all next week

Later in the year WPS will be hosting the STEAMpunks2016 Conference with keynotespeakers from USA and Australia STEM teachers scientists engineers sailors andother industry experts will participate
