Alleluia!  Summer Ministries Planning & Prayer mtg/lunch: June 2nd Join us Sun., June 2nd, at 12:15 p.m. in the Corner House, to pray for and plan for "The Change Place"-- our 2013 Family Camp (June 24-28) as well as Jump Start! Our  back-to-school literary daycamp for Madison k ids (Aug. 5-9). Lunch will be served and children are welcome. Please RSVP to Vikki Randall at [email protected] so we can plan enough food and materials for everyone. Summer Ministry Donations Please help us gather supplies for our two big summer outreach ministries-- Family Camp and Jump Start. Donations can be left in the bas ket in the narthex (lobby) of the church. Here's a partial list of what is needed: For Family Camp (June 24-28):  scrap wood pieces in assorted shapes/sizes, a nywhere from 2" square to 15" square.  science equipment-- test tubes, other sorts of lab e quipment (to be returned after camp)  interesting/unusual old-fashioned "gadgets"-- kitchen, etc.  (to be returned after camp)   bags of chips  fresh fruit or veggies (please bring weekend of June 23rd only) For Jump Start (back-to-school daycamp Aug. 5-9)  gently used or new children's books in good condition  school & art supplies of all sorts  gently used or new backpacks   bags of chips  fresh fruit or veggies (please bring weekend of Aug. 4th only) pdates & Ministry Opportunities continued: Res pondin g in Ste wardship  L et's work togethe r to catch up on ou r f in ancial ste wardship before we e nter the s ummer tr ave l season. Trusted prayer partners will be available after the service, at the front of the

Sanctuary, to listen and pray with anyone who so desires.

Parents of in fants : If needed/desired, a nursing mom’s room is located in the lobby

with video link to the worship service. A nursery with loving caregivers is also

available across the courtyard.

 Please join us in the courtyard for light refreshments and a time to be together 

immediately following the service.

 Peace & Justice Meeting: May 13th Peace & Justice Ministry Team will meet on Monday, May 13

th, at 6:45 p.m. in the Santa

Barbara Room. All are welcome to attend. Nancy Litteken, from Club 21 Learning and

Resource Center, a non-profit organization that supports children with Down Syndrome

and their families, will join us and share about their ministry and upcoming events of Club

21. Please come and find out more about Club 21’s ministry and learn of other ways

Pasadena Covenant is trying to serve and work with those in our community. For more

th, will be our next monthly gathering for Pasadena Covenant! Join us for 

a Community Dinner at the Dally/Lamme home (452 Alberta St. Altadena, CA 91001).

We’ll share a meal together and enjoy a relaxed evening of fun! Dinner this week will be a

 potluck! Bring your favorite dish to shre with the group. We will eat at 6:30 p.m., but feel

free to come as early as 5:00 p.m. and stay as late as 9:00 p.m. Please RSVP to Mindie

Moore at [email protected].  Women’s Book Club: May 20th The Pasadena Covenant Women’s Book Club will meet Monday, May 20th, 7:30 - 9:00

 p.m. in the Corner House. We will be discussing Nothing to Envy, by Barbara Demick.

 [email protected].  Sarah Circle: May 21st Tuesday, May 21, Sarah Circle, 9:30 a.m. - noon in Fireside. We welcome all women to

rd, at 7:00 pm in the Corner House
