Prepare for and participate effectively in a range of conversations and

collaborations with diverse partners, building on others’ ideas and

expressing their own clearly and persuasively.

Collaboration is going to look similar and different across grade level.

Teaching Kids How to Engage in Collaborative Discussions and Activities

Project Requirements

Using the Horizon report and collaborating with schools across the world, students will

be researching the technology trends projected for the future in higher education.

The 2013 Horizon Report projects that tablet computing, games and gamification,

analytics, 3D printing, wearable technology and Moocs are some of the trends to watch

for in the next 1-5 years.

Using the Horizon report and the trends there, students will "mash up" teach

technology with one of the NetGen norms as shared in Don Tapscott's book Grown Up

Digital.
