For more information: APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING The Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council proudly partners with Franklin County and IMPACT Community Action to offer residents a path to the middle class. Building Futures is a 12-week program that provides the skills needed to begin a career in the region’s booming construction industry. No experience in the construction industry is necessary or required to apply. A career with one of the affiliated trades (see list on right) will provide participants with a great starting wage, health benefits and retirement benefits. After the successful conclusion of the 12-week training program, participants will have a pathway into a registered apprenticeship program. Individuals who are interested in the Building Futures program should: • Have an interest in the building trades as a career. • Have the physical ability to perform the work of the trades. • Pass a drug test. Attendance is required and strictly adhered to for participants to successfully complete the program. If interested or to apply in person, contact Leland Bass, IMPACT Community Action Employer Relations Manager, at 614-453-1618.
