Volunteer of the Month

Jamie Jameson, has been volunteering with BTCV Haringey since the start of the year. Why did you start volunteering with BTCV Haringey? I was interested in doing something different to carpentry and having a new experience. Why do you enjoy conservation? I enjoy discovering beautiful places, meeting nice people and the variety of practical activities. What has been your favourite activity? I’ve enjoyed working in Haringey’s ancient Woodlands such as Queen’s Wood and Coldfall Wood, coppicing and holly bashing.

ham Hale and is one of BTCV Haringey’s new regu-lar sites, we will be there every month to help this project grow (literally). However, we will also be go-ing all over Haringey improving parks and green spaces. The BTCV Green Gym® is a great way to improve your mental and physical health while being outside and improving places for nature. If conventional gyms are not for you then come and

join us, everybody is welcome regardless of

experience or fitness levels.

Luke Berman, BTCV Haringey’s Green Gym Project
