May Day - Calling All Cans! Our wonderful Marlene Bender, mother of John, has again this year given her artistic talents to The Williams School and created a charming May basket to give to our neighbors this Thursday, May 1
st . A photograph is attached
of the seed packet and flower design she has made to attach to the front of a recycled can, along with a label thanking our neighbors and wishing them a happy May Day. The can fits the school's recycling efforts, and filled with flowers, will bring beauty to our neighbors and remind them how grateful we are to share our historic surroundings with them. The cans we seek are the size used by Progresso, Campbell's Chunky Soup, and other brands - a bit "fatter" than a normal soup, fruit, or vegetable can. Soup, beans, fruit - all would be great. If you would save the cans, wash them out, remove the labels, and send them to school with your child, that will be so very helpful. Please feel free to call Meredith Lauter at 627-1383 ext. 213 with any questions, and thank you so much for your assistance.

you drink a secret potion and travel down the rabbit hole. If you can
fit through the door of The Williams School bus, ride it to the
Taliaferro's for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, then on to the Littel's
where you'll paint the roses red at the secret garden for dinner. You
