DAY 2 THURSDAY 29 OCTOBER Arrival Arrive into Ben Gurion Airport this morning Meet your guide and start your Israel touring Start your tour at Neot Kedumim Biblical Landscape Reserve which brings to life the literal roots of the biblical tradition in the soil of the land of Israel Continue to the ancient port city of Old Jaffa and the house of Simon the Tanner where Peter had his vision of the non-kosher animals This is an area with a lot of character and a group photo by the sculpture of Jonahrsquos lsquobig fishrsquo is essential Overnight Metropolitan Tel Aviv

DAY 12 SUNDAY 8 NOVEMBER Jerusalem New City Morning visit to Yad LaKashish or lsquoLifeline for the Oldrsquo a wonderful place in Jerusalem where around 300 elderly and disabled Jerusalem residents are employed in ten workshops making beautiful Judaica and gifts This non-profit organization also provides a broad array of social and health care services to the elderly in a delightfully original and creative work environment Yad LaKashish empowers and supports the elderly on a daily basis and gives them a sense of purpose and community as well as financial assistance BFP Orientation amp Jerusalem Assistance Centre mdash where you will meet with BFP Staff and volunteers See firsthand the Jerusalem food distribution centre where around 40 tons of food a month is sent out to those in need In the afternoon experience a moving visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial - a vast landscaped complex with a visitors centre a museum and a dozen memorials scattered over 45 acres of the Mount of Remembrance One of the most striking monuments at Yad Vashem is the Childrenrsquos Memorial Overnight Ein Kerem Hotel Jerusalem
