The growth of the industrial production was estimated on the basis of constant price 2000 of 2000 for the main commodities. . Data on production of the main industrial commodities shows a physical . quantity of the particular produced goods. Labour The employment is the number of employees of the particular economic sector . at the end of the month. According to the International standard methodology unemployed persons are those segments of , the population in the working age who are , currently not working in a paid or self- employed, actively looking for job and, , registered at the Employment Office. , . , Household income and expendituresurvey 1966Since 1966, the National Statistical , Office has regularly conducted household 2006 income and expenditure survey. In 2006, a sample of 11232 households was selected 11232 , to represent the total households of Mongolia , , and data on household members age, sex, , ,employment, householdincome,, , expenditure, consumption and housing condition are collected and analyzed on a .quarterly bases. ,The survey methodology (sample, questionnaire design and indicators) has been changed since the 3rd quarter of 20056 7. Crime The Crime indicators have been innovated and enriched in connection with change of Criminal Law..- Indicators like crime against human life,- , health, crime to cause others to commit , suicide, violent crime such as attempted and , negligent murder are being compiled in the ,bulletin; .- , - Rape crime was included to the crime against children, family and social morality;.- - Crime against ownership right includes theft , of property, robbery, snatch away others , property, deceiving to obtain others property,, illegally misuse others property and wasting; , , .- - Arson was included to crime against . environmental protection.- - Indecent assault was added to crime against . social safety. 18 10000 The number of committed offences per 10000 population aged 18 and over is a quotient of the number of crimes and number 18 of people aged 18 and over at the beginning .of the year. 0 7 8. , Economic and Social Situation of Mongolia( 2006 8 )(As of the first 8 months of 2006) General Government budget , In the first 8 months of 2006, total 2006 8 revenue and grants of General Government 762.3 , budget amounted to 762.3 bln.togrogs and total expenditure and net lending 544.9544.9 , bln.togrogs. The General government budget217.4 . overall balance surplus was 217.4 bln.togrogs. 757.1 Current revenue of General Government, 467.2 amounted to 757.1 bln.togrogs and current, 289.9 expenditure 467.2 bln.togrogs. The budget . current balance was a surplus 289.9bln.togrogs. Compared with the same period of 51.9 , previous year, tax revenue increased by 51.9 27.6 , percent, taxes on foreign trade increased by 23.0 , 27.6 percent, value added tax increased by 31.8 31.8 percent and excise tax increased by.23.0 percent. , The shares of current expenditure and capital expenditure in the total expenditure 85.8 , 10.4and net lending amounted to 85.8 percent, 3.9 and 10.4 percent, which increased by 5.7 points and 3.1 points compared with the same 5.7period of the previous year, respectively. Current account 33.9 surplus was mainly due to trade and service . balance surplus of trade account surplus reached to 33.9 mln. US dollars. The gold. and copper price increase in the world market resulted in surplus of trade account. , . Services 2006 2-Services account surplus equaled 5.4 5.4 .mln.US dollars second quarter of 2006. From .dividends distributed by joint companies 16.4 mln. US dollars were transferred to foreign16.4 . countries, and interest payments of, Government and private sector loans of 4.0 mln. In the first 8 months of 2006, production of2006 8 ( industry (at current prices) on 1324.8) 1324.8 bln.togrogs sold at domestic and foreign , market. . , Household income and expenditure survey , 2006 A total of 2808 households were2 surveyed for the 2nd quarter of 2006 in , 21 2808 Ulaanbaatar city and 21 aimags. . According to survey report of the 2nd 2006 2 quarter of 2006 a household monthly 255.4 average monetary expenditure was 255.4 thousand togrogs. Household monthly65.4 .monetary expenditure increased by 65.4percent compared to the same period ofthe previous year.
