Announcements

HVAC - The HVAC is paid for, however, the funds to finish paying for the HVAC were taken from other resources and this money needs to be put back. Your help is needed, so please continue to make your donations to help pay for the HVAC. Thank you for all you do for KBC! Soup and Salad Fundraiser - The Faith Challenger’s Sunday School class will be hosting a soup and salad luncheon fundraiser Sunday, September 18th in the FLC. Please mark your calendars! More details to follow. A Back-to-School Supply Drive, sponsored by the Angelic Ministers, is going on now! Please help with this mission by purchasing school supplies for children in need in our local schools. We need book bags, pencils, pencil cases, wide-ruled notebooks, erasers, scissors, crayons, glue sticks, etc. This is an immediate need - some schools have already started and others will start soon. You can leave your donations in the Conference Room. Thank you for all your support! Fall Kickoff Wednesday Night Fellowship is scheduled for September 7th. Stay tuned for more information!

Children’s Worship Change

Beginning September 11, KBC will undertake a BIG CHANGE in our CHILDREN'S SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP. Children's Church will be held for the full hour for ages 4-7 in the Chil-dren's Worship Room next door to the Parlor. We are making this change because 1) to give our children a great worship experience on a level children can comprehend and become engaged, and 2) for safety reasons. As you all know, a fa-vorite game of children at this age is "hide and go seek." This creates risk if we continue to transi-tion children in the middle of the 11:00 am adult worship service. Those of you who read the letter in the BEAM may already be aware of the upcoming change as a part of our transition to become a "Safe Sanctuary" Church. Please encourage others to read and discuss this information intended to make Knightdale Baptist Church a safe and secure place for our children. Our world is not always a safe place. We must continue to adjust in order to keep children safe and engaged at KBC. Thank You- Terry Johnson, Discipleship Team and Sunday School Director DeAnne Talley, Children's Ministry Team

Also, if you have a change in the schedule for the children’s nursery or children’s church, please contact the monthly coordinator so that the change can be made prior to the printing of the worship bulletin. However, any permanent changes in the schedule should continue to be handled by the lead coordinator.

Thank you for all your help.

Attention KBC Parents: If you have a child participating in children’s worship, please make sure they are picked up at the end of the church service by a parent or adult.
