GLOBALNO PARTNERSTVO ZA PREVENCIJU ORUŽANIH SUKOBA NA ZAPADNOM BALKANU Od 2003. godine Globalno partnerstvo za prevenciju oružanih sukoba aktivno je na Zapadnom Balkanu. NDC Srbija bio je prvi regionalni sekretarijat, da bi tu ulogu 2010. godine preuzeo NDC Crna Gora. Dva glavna regionalna programa: Obrazovanje za mir i Dijalog i medijacija, realizuju se u okviru regionalne mreže i uključuju brojne aktere civilnog društva, nacionalnih i lokalnih vlasti i drugih relevantnih organizacija i institucija, ali i nastavnike i učenike iz regiona. Svi ovi ljudi zajedno rade na postizanju jednog cilja – izgradnji mirnog i bezbednog društva za sve. Članice GPPAC na Zapadnom Balkanu tradicionalno obeležavaju Međunarodni dan mira, 21. septembar, aktivnostima koje se realizuju u školama i lokalnim zajednicama. Poslednjih nekoliko godina ove aktivnosti organizuju se u sklopu kampanje čija se tema poklapa sa temom regionalnog likovnog konkursa za učenike i učenice iz regiona. Brojne škole iz regiona koje su učestvovale u ovogodišnjoj kampanji Ja lajkujem mir – mir je moj izbor u kojoj je poseban akcenat stavljen na prevenciju digitalnog nasilja. Škole iz regiona obeležile su Međunarodni dan mira aktivnostima realizovanim u okviru redovne nastave i vannastavnih aktivnosti. Učenici, nastavnici i direktori na ovaj način su još jednom pokazali kako se aktivnosti iz oblasti obrazovanja za mir mogu implemetirati u okviru svakodnevnog života škole. Škole koje sarađuju sa Nansen dijalog centrima i GPPAC-om u regionu godinama doprinose integraciji elemenata obrazovanja za mir pa je kao nova aktivnost organizovana studijska poseta nastavnika iz Srbije OŠ „Milija Nikčević“ u Nikšiću koja već godinama

ima aktivne školske medijatore. Jedna od glavnih tema novembarske studijske posete bila je primena zbirke Obrazovanje za mir – iskustva iz prakse.

Studijska poseta Osnovnoj školi „Milija Nikčević” u Nikšiću

- Iskustva iz prakse

Studijska poseta nastavnika-medijatora iz Crne Gore i Srbije Osnovnoj školi „Milija Nikčević” u Nikšiću jedna je od najznačajnijih aktivnosti GPPAC regionalnog programa „Obrazovne institucije implementiraju obrazovanje za mir” u 2014. godini. Posetu su od 13. do 15. novembra 2014. godine zajednički organizovali NDC Crna Gora i NDC Srbija. Ova razmena bila je inspirativna za sve učesnike, okupila je stručnjake i praktičare iz oblasti obrazovanja za mir i pružila mogućnost za učenje iz različitih iskustava. Uspeh studijske posete zasnivao se na pažljivo osmišljenom programu, uz vešto iskombinovana teorijska i praktična iskustva primene sadržaja obrazovanja za mir.

Škola „Milija Nikčević” odabrana je za školu domaćina zbog svoje dugogodišnje posvećenosti obrazovanju za mir, a posebno zahvaljujući obukama vršnjačkih medijatora koje se realizuju od 2010. godine. Škola ima aktivan školski medijatorski tim i dobitnik je nagrade ACES-a za projekat „Za dobro svih generacija-živjela medijacija!”. Iskustva ove škole bila su dragocena nastavnicima-medijatorima iz Podgorice, Bara, Ulcinja, Novog Sada, Temerina, Bačkog Petrovca i Niša. Tokom prvog dana gosti su prisustvovali realizaciji oglednog časa iz prirode i društva i času crnogorskog jezika u kojima su bili integrisani elementi obrazovanja za mir. Pripreme za oba ogledna časa bile su zasnovane na pripremama objavljenim u zbirci „Obrazovanje za mir-dijalogom do rešenja“, što pokazuje da se zbirka koristi kao kreativno nastavno sredstvo. Gosti su takođe predstavili svoje aktivnosti.

THE GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP FOR PREVENTION OF ARMED CONFLICT IN THE WESTERN BALKANS Since 2007 the Global Partnership for the

Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC) has marked the International Day of Peace, 21 September by organising numerous activities. In the past years these activities have turned into a campaign that has a different topic each year which is at the same time the topic of the Regional Arts Competition for students from the region. Numerous schools have participated in this year’s campaign I Like Peace – Peace Is My Choice by organising peace activities and submitting their students' artworks to the regional arts competition. Within GPPAC programme, schools that participate in the regional Peace Education Group marked this year’s International Day of Peace with activities implemented during regular classes and extracurricular activities. In this way, students, teachers and principals once again showed how activities from the field of peace education could be implemented within everyday school life. Schools which cooperate with Nansen Dialogue Centres and GPPAC in the region have been contributing to the integration of peace education elements in the regular classes for years. Numerous teachers and representatives of ministries, as well as the civil society have contributed to the collection Education for Peace – Experiences from Practice that was published in September. Regional programmes: Peace Education and Dialogue and Mediation, implemented within the network of the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict in the Western Balkans, included numerous actors from civil society, national and local authorities and other relevant organisations and institutions, as well as teachers and students from the region. All these people work together on achieving one goal – to build a peaceful and safe society for all.

A Study Visit to Milija Nikčević Primary School in Nikšić – Experiences from Practice

One of the highlights of GPPAC regional programme "Educational Institutions Implement Education for Peace" in 2014 was a study visit of teacher-mediators from Montenegro and Serbia to "Milija Nikčević" primary school in Nikšić. The visit was taking place 13-15 November 2014 and was jointly organised by NDC Montenegro and NDC Serbia. It was an inspiring exchange for all participants as it brought together educational experts and practitioners and provided opportunity for mutual learning. The success of the study visit was resulted from a carefully envisaged programme which skilfully combined theoretical and practical experiences in the implementation of education for peace contents. The hosting school was selected due to its long-term commitment to education for peace and particularly to peer mediation education which has been organised since 2010. The school has an operational school mediation team and has been awared by ACES for its project "For the Welfare of All Generations-Long Live Mediation". The experiences of this school were precious to teacher-mediators coming from

Podgorica, Bar, Ulcinj, Novi Sad,Temerin, Bački Petrovac and Niš. During the first day the guests observed model classes: a science class and Montenegrin language class in which education for peace elements were integrated. Both class preparations were based on those presented in the handbook Education for Peace-Experiences from Practice which proves that the handbook is being used as creative teaching tool. The guests too presented their activities. The second day of the visit was dedicated to an expert panel on Education for Peace as Part of the Teaching Process, with

(nastavak sa strane 2) Drugi dan posete bio je posvećen okruglom stolu „Obrazovanje za mir kao dio nastavnog procesa“ na kojem su govorili predstavnici ministarstava prosvete Crne Gore i Srbije, Zavoda za školstvo Crne Gore, predstavnici lokalne samouprave, Saveta roditelja OŠ „Milija Nikčević“ i Nansen dijalog centara. Jedna od preporuka okruglog stola bila je da sadržaji obrazovanja za mir treba da budu integrisani u programe svih obrazovno-vaspitnih ustanova, od predškolskih do fakulteta. Trećeg dana posete gosti su uživali u susretu i razgovoru sa dve generacije vršnjačkih medijatora škole-domaćina koji su predstavili prednosti i izazove vršnjačkog medijatora, naglašavajući da su im obuke pomogle u razvijanju samopouzdanja i komunikacijskih veština. U sesiji „Moći, znati, razumjeti“, predstavnica Zavoda za školstvo Crne Gore istakla je važnost čitalačke pismenosti, razvijanja komunikacijskih veština i veština javnog govora u izgradnji kapaciteta mladih generacija. U završnom delu posete, kreativnost nastavnika-domaćina je još jednom došla do izražaja prikazivanjem snimljenog časa matematike koji je realizovan po uzoru na pripremu za čas iz priručnika „Obrazovanje za mir-dijalogom do rešenja“. I zaista, bio je to dobar primer iz prakse, a komentari nastavnice matematike i učenika koji su prisustvovali času pokazali su da je čas bio inovativan, interesantan i da su svi bili aktivni, čak i učenici koji ne vole matematiku.

Dosadašnji rezultati škola koje integrišu obrazovanje za mir pokazuju da se klima u školi promenila nabolje, da su se poboljšali odnosi između učenika i da su učenici i učenice više motivisani da sukobe rešavaju na konstruktivan način. U tom smislu potrebna je kontinuirana međusektorska saradnja i svi učesnici okruglog stola izrazili su spremnost da podrže integrisanje obrazovanja za mir u nastavu u budućnosti. Studijska poseta je sa svim navedenim segmentima ispunila glavne ciljeve: razmenu iskustava i osnaživanje saradnje obrazovnih institucija iz dve zemlje. Iznad svega, ova poseta motivisala je praktičare da isprobaju nove metodologije i nastavna sredstva i prihvate obrazovanje za mir kao deo svakodnevnog rada. Zahvalni smo GPPAC fondaciji, Zavodu za školstvo Crne Gore i školama iz Novog Sada, Bačkog Petrovca i Niša na podršci i prepoznavanju potrebe za stručnim usavršavanjem nastavnika.

Međuregionalna saradnja sa UNDP kancelarijom iz Ukrajine Na poziv kancelarije Programa za razvoj Ujedinjenih nacija u Ukrajini, a u okviru projekta „Demokratizacija, ljudska prava i razvoj civilnog društva u Ukrajini” Ivana Gajović iz Nansen dijalog centra Crna Gora održala је predavanje na seminaru: „Promocija dokumentovanja kršenja ljudskih prava, obezbijeđenje neophodne pravne pomoći i učešće u inicijativama za pomirenje / izgradnju povjerenja za oblasti Lugansk i Donjeck“.

Seminar je održan 25. i 26. septembra 2014. godine u Kijevu (Ukrajina), a učesnici su bili aktivisti civilnog sektora iz konfliktom ugroženih oblasti Donjecka i Luganska. Civilni sektor u ovim oblastima postoji, ali mu je potrebno osnaživanje u oblastima dokumentovanja kršenja ljudskih prava, procesima pomirenja i izgradnje povjerenja. Predavanje „Dijalog i izgradnja mira u procesu pomirenja u Crnoj Gori: primijenjene tehnike i iskustva”, koje je Ivana Gajović održala, izazvalo je pažnju učesnika i pokrenulo je diskusiju. Učesnici seminara su tokom diskusije zaključili da su komparativne analize zemalja i regiona korisne metode za učenje i da ih je moguće primjeniti u njihovom kontekstu.

(continuation from page 3) speakers from the ministries of education in Montenegro and Serbia, Montenegrin Institute for Education, representatives of local self-government, parents council of the hosting school and the NDCs. Integration of Education for Peace contents into all educational institutions, starting from preschools to universities, was highlighted as one of the recommendations of the panel. Results of the schools implementing Education for Peace so far have indicated that the climate in school has changed for the better, relations between pupils/students have improved and they are motivated to resolve conflicts in a constructive way. In that respect, a continuous cross-sectoral cooperation is needed and all actors expressed their committment to support future integration of education for peace in school curricula.

The third day of the study visit was especially enjoyable as the guests had a meeting with two generations of peer mediators from the hosting school who shared their impressions on advantages and challenges of a peer mediator, emphasizing that peer mediaton education was beneficial to the development of their self-confidence and communication skills. In the session on "To be able, to know, to understand", a representative of the Institute for Education of Montenegro highlighted the importance of literacy, communication and public speech skills to enhance capacities of young generations. In the closure of the last day, creativity of the hosting teachers was once again presented in the session with recorded video about maths class based on the class preparation from the Education for Peace - Experiences from Practice handbook. It was truly an example of a good practice and in the words of the maths teacher and the pupils present at the session: "The class was innovative, interesting and engaging to all students, even those who dislike maths". The study visit with all its segments has achieved the main goals: exchange of experiences and strengthening cooperation between educational actors in two states. Above all, it motivated the participants to test out the new methodologies and teaching tools and embrace education for peace as part of their daily work. We are thankful to the GPPAC Foundation, Institute for Education of Montenegro and the schools from Novi Sad, Bački Petrovac and Niš for their support and understanding of the need for teachers’ professional exchange.

Cross-regional cooperation with UNDP in Ukraine Upon invitation from the United Nations Development Programme office in Ukraine and within project: "Democratisation, Human Rights and Development of Civil Society in Ukraine", Ivana Gajović from Nansen Dialogue Centre Montenegro delivered a lecture at the seminar: "Promoting Documentation of Human Rights Violations, Provision of Necessary Legal Assistance and Participation in Reconciliation / Trust-building Initiatives for the Luhansk and Donetsk regions“.

The seminar was held on 25 and 26 September 2014 in Kiev/Ukraine for civil society activists from the conflict-affected regions of Donetsk and Luhansk.

The civil society in these regions is active, yet it needs capacity building and empowerment for documenting human rights violation, reconciliation and trust-building.

Ivana Gajović's lecture on: "Dialogue and Peacebuilding Contributing to Reconciliation in Montenegro: Techniques Applied” attracted the attention of the participants and initiated discussion. Following the discussion, the participants concluded that comparative analysis of the countries and regions was a useful learning method and that its implementation within their context was possible.

Saradnja Broda mira i Nansen dijalog centra Crna Gora - primjer međuregionalne saradnje

Međunarodna nevladina organizacija Brod mira sa sjedištem u Japanu je posjetila Luku Kotor 20. aprila 2014. godine, kao dio 104-dnevnog putovanja oko svijeta u cilju lokalne promocije i razmjene na teme mirovnog obrazovanja i prevencije konflikata.

83. Globalno putovanje Broda mira je počelo u Japanu, 13. marta posjetama Singapuru, Šri Lanki, Jordanu i Grčkoj. Oko 900 putnika je posjetilo Kotor u Crnoj Gori 20. aprila 2014. godine. Program su činili: studijska i kulturna razmjena, razgledanje grada, radionice iz oblasti Obrazovanja za mir, kao i sadržaji iz oblasti ekologije i ženskih prava. Ovo je prvi put da je Brod mira došao u Crnu Goru.

Delegacija od osam Hibakuša (osoba koje su preživjele atomsku bombu) iz Hirošime i Nagasakija učestvovala je u programu „Globalno putovanje za slobodni svijet bez nuklearnog naoružanja: Brod mira Hibakuša“, gdje su govorili o humanitarnim poslijedicama upotrebe nuklearnog naoružanja na pres konferenciji.

Ivana Gajović i Dragana Radoman iz Nansen dijalog centra Crna Gora održale su radionicu o Obrazovanju za mir grupi mladih mirovnih aktivista iz Izraela i Palestine. Oni su učestvovali u programu upravljanja konfliktima „Uklanjanje barijera” koji se realizuje na brodu. Brod mira su osnovali studenti Univerziteta u Tokiju prije 30 godina koji su imali viziju putovanja putovanja po regionima Azije i Pacifika kako bi učili o istoriji ratnog perioda od žrtava i preživjelih japanske agresije.

Od tada, Brod mira se razvijao i dobio konsultativni status u Ekonomsko-socijalnom savjetu Ujedinjenih nacija, uticajan je član japanskog civilnog društva i dio je globalnog mirovnog pokreta. Tri puta godišnje organizuju se globalna putovanja i jedno regionalno, na kojima je do sada učestvovalo preko 40.000 ljudi iz 100 zemalja svijeta na ukupno 83 putovanja.

Ova posjeta je koordinirana sa lokalnim partnerom, Nansen dijalog centrom Crna Gora. Brod mira i Nansen dijalog centar Crna Gora sarađuju duži niz godina na programima Obrazovanja za mir, jer su obje organizacije članice Globalnog partnerstva za prevenciju oružanih sukoba - GPPAC. GPPAC je globalna mreža organizacija civilnog društva koje rade na programima izgradnje mira i prevencije konflikata. Brod mira je Regionalni sekretarijat za region Sjeveroistočne Azije, a Nansen dijalog centar Crna Gora je regionalni sekretarijat za region Zapadnog Balkana.

Cooperation of Peace Boat and Nansen Dialogue Centre Montenegro –an example of cross-regional collaboration

Peace Boat as one-of-a-kind non-profit organization was founded over 30 years ago by university students in Tokyo who had a vision of travelling around the Asia Pacific region to learn about war-time history from the victims and survivors of Japanese aggression. Since then, Peace Boat has evolved into an NGO with United Nations consultative status and is an influential member of Japanese civil society and the global peace movement. It organizes 3 global voyages and 1 regional voyage each year, and to date is responsible for having carried more than 40,000 participants to over 100 countries onboard a total of 83 voyages.

This visit was coordinated in coordination with local partner, the Nansen Dialogue Centre Montenegro. Peace Boat and the Nansen Dialogue Centre have had a close collaboration over many years, particularly in the field of peace education, as part of their membership of the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC). GPPAC is a global network of civil society organisations working in peacebuilding and conflict prevention. Peace Boat acts as the Northeast Asia Regional Secretariat for GPPAC, while the Nansen Dialogue Centre is the Regional Secretariat for the Western Balkans.

The Japan-based international NGO Peace Boat visited the port of Kotor on April 20, 2014 as part of a 104-day around-the-world voyage to promote grassroots exchange, peace education and conflict prevention. Peace Boat's 83rd Global Voyage departed from Japan on March 13 with visits to the ports of Singapore, Sri Lanka, Jordan and Greece. Approximately 900 passengers visited Kotor, Montenegro on April 20, 2014. The programme consisted of a series of study and cultural exchanges and sightseeing programmes, as well as workshops on issues of environmental protection and women's rights. This was the first time ever for Peace Boat to visit Montenegro. A delegation of 8 Hibakusha (atomic bomb survivors) from Hiroshima and Nagasaki took part in the "Global Voyage for a Nuclear-Free World: Peace Boat Hibakusha Project" to reach out to the world about the humanitarian consequences of nuclear weapons by also speaking at a press conference. Ivana Gajović and Dragana Radoman from Nansen Dialogue Centre Montenegro facilitated a workshop on Education for Peace to a group of young peacebuilders from Israel and Palestine. Školska medijacija – prevencija nasilja u multietničkim školama u Vojvodini –aktivnosti u 2014.godini

Projekat Školska medijacija– prevencija nasilja u multietničkim školama u Vojvodini započet je u junu 2013. godine, a Nansen dijalog centar Srbija, Građanski fond Panonija iz Novog Sada i ACCD iz Beograda zajednički su realizovali ovaj projekat u cilju izgradnje nastavničkih i učeničkih kapaciteta za prevenciju nasilja.

Partnerstvo i dobra saradnja svih aktera važnih u obrazovno-vaspitnom procesu obeležili su zajednički rad. U projektu su učestvovali nastavnici, pedagozi, psiholozi, direktori škola i učenici iz šest osnovnih škola: O.Š. „Nikola Tesla“ i O.Š. „Petefi Šandor“ iz Novog Sada, O.Š. „Kokai Imre“ iz Temerina, O.Š. „Miloje Čiplić“ iz Novog Bečeja, O.Š. „Jan Čajak“ iz Bačkog Petrovca i O.Š. „2. oktobar“ iz Nikolinaca. Paralelno sa obukama za nastavnike-medijatore, realizovane su obuke za učenike-vršnjačke medijatore i tako su formirani školski medijatorski timovi. Nastavnici-medijatori imali su zadatak da nakon svakog treninga naprave akcioni plan, realizuju radionice i aktivnosti sa učenicima i sa kolegama i na taj način prenose usvojena znanja i veštine. Najvažnije aktivnosti NDC Srbija u 2014. godini bile su praćenje primene naučenih veština i rada medijatorskih timova kroz konsultacije sa nastavnicima, kao i podrška nastavnicima u daljem razvijanju programa. Nastavnici i učenici su tokom realizacije projekta pokazali veliku motivaciju da uče i ulažu u kreiranje promena u svom radnom okruženju, ali i u svakodnevnom životu, u odnosima sa porodicom i vršnjacima. Posebno su istakli važnost različitih kompetencija koje su razvijali tokom obuka: usvajanje i poboljšavanje komunikacijskih veština i primenu novih načina rešavanja sukoba. Primenjujući medijaciju nastavnici su uspešno rešili različite slučajeve sukoba. Među njima izdvajamo primer medijacije koji nam je poslala nastavnica-medijatorka. Radi se o vrsti sukoba koja se u poslednje vreme nažalost često dešava među učenicima. Grupa devojčica je u virtuelnom svetu javno prozivala i vređala svoju drugaricu. Devojčicu, koja je bila žrtva digitalnog nasilja, pokušala je da odbrani njena najbolja drugarica, ali je zatim i sama postala meta neslanih šala i provokacija. Nakon održane sesije medijacije i postignutih dogovora, učenice koje su bile u sukobu redovno su pomagale jedna drugoj tokom školskih aktivnosti. Na taj način se izgubljeno poverenje među

drugaricama postepeno vratilo, a njihovi narušeni odnosi popravili. Nastavnici-medijatori su istakli da se u ulozi medijatora osećaju dobro i da zahvaljujući novim veštinama i znanjima jasnije postavljaju ciljeve i bolje vladaju procesom vođenja rešavanja sukoba. Promenio se i način na koji nastavnici rešavaju situacije sukoba u učionici - sa manje nervoze, a sa više odgovornosti pristupaju procesu i osećaju da imaju moć i znanje da zajedno sa učenicima nađu rešenja. Ranije je u rešavanju sukoba između učenika fokus najčešće bio samo na učenicima-sukobljenim stranama. Nakon obuke vršnjačkih medijatora, sukobi se sagledavaju iz različitih uglova i u proces rešavanja uključuju se i ostali vršnjaci, nastavnici i roditelji. Utisak nastavnika je da se vršnjaci sada aktivnije bave sukobima, a u promovisanju školske medijacije učestvuju i učenički parlamenti. Na taj način mreža vršnjačkih mirotvoraca počela je da se širi. NDC Srbija aktivno je podržala osnivanje školskih medijatorskih klubova u svih šest škola u junu 2014. godine, uz saradnju direktora škola i školskih medijatorskih timova. U školskoj 2014/2015. godini školski medijatori nastavljaju svoj rad i trude se da još više promovišu i koriste tehnike školske medijacije. Činjenica da se veliki broj sukoba rešava medijacijom predstavlja za nas ohrabrenje da nastavimo s podrškom školama u budućnosti. Tokom realizacije programa sarađivali smo sa Ministarstvom prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja - Jedinicom za prevenciju nasilja i Pokrajinskim sekretarijatom za obrazovanje čija institucionalna i stručna podrška nam je mnogo značila. Projekat je realizovan uz finansijsku podršku Ambasade Kraljevine Norveške u Beogradu.

School Mediation – Prevention of Violence in Multiethnic Schools in Vojvodina – activities in 2014

Among the cases, we present here a mediation case sent to us by a teacher-mediator. This type of a conflict is unfortunately quite common among students nowadays. A group of schoolgirls publicly picked on and insulted their friend on social networks. Best friend of the girl who was a victim of digital violence was trying to defend her however she herself also became a subject of their practical jokes and provocations. After the mediation session was held and agreements were made, the schoolgirls who were parties in conflicts started helping each other regularly in school activities. In such way, the trust between friends has been regained gradually and their broken relations have been re-established. The teachers emphasized that they feel good in a mediator’s role, they set their goals more clearly due to the acquired new skills and knowledge and facilitate a process of conflict resolution better. The way the teachers resolve conflicts in the classroom has changed too - they feel less nervous and engage into the process with more responsibility and also feel that they have power and knowledge to find solutions together with students. Previously, in most of the cases, resolution of conflicts between students focused solely on the students-parties in conflict. After the peer mediation trainings, conflicts are analysed from different perspectives and other students - peers, teachers and parents are now engaged in conflict resolution. Teachers’ impressions are that the peers have been more active in resolving conflicts and student parliaments have promoted mediation since. In such way, the network of peers – peacebuilders has started growing. NDC Serbia actively supported opening of school mediator’s clubs in June 2014 in each of the six schools, with a great support of the principals and school mediation teams. In the 2014/2015 school year, school mediators have continued their work and put even more efforts to promote and use school mediation. The fact that a great number of conflicts is being resolved by school mediation is encouraging to us to continue supporting schools in future. We cooperated with the Unit for the Prevention of Violence of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and the Provincial Secretariat for Education in the implementation of the project and their institutional and professional support was valuable to us. Implementation of the project School Mediation – Prevention of Violence in Multiethnic Schools in Vojvodina started in June 2013 and continued during the second term of the school year 2013/2014. NDC Serbia, Civic Foundation Panonija from Novi Sad and ACCD from Belgrade jointly implemented the project with the aim to build teacher and student capacities for the prevention of violence. Partnership and good cooperation of all actors important for educational and upbringing processes marked the work on this project. Teachers, pedagogues, psychologists, school principals and students of six primary schools: "Nikola Tesla" and "Petefi Sandor" Primary Schools from Novi Sad, "Kokai Imre" Primary School from Temerin, "Miloje Čiplić" Primary School from Novi Bečej, "Jan Čajak" Primary School from Bački Petrovac and “2. oktobar” Primary School from Nikolinci participated in the project. Along with the trainings held for teacher-mediators, the trainings for peer mediators were held too and in such way future school mediation teams were formed. Teacher-mediators had a task to create an Action Plan after each of the trainings and facilitate workshops and activities with students and colleagues in order to pass on the gained knowledge and skills. The most important activities of NDC Serbia in 2014 were to follow the implementation of the acquired skills, to follow the work of mediators’ teams and provide support to teachers in further developing the programmes. During the project implementation, teachers and students showed great motivation to learn and invest into bringing changes at their work places, but also in their everyday life, in relations with family and peers. In particular, they highlighted the importance of competences they were developing through the trainings: acquiring and enhancing communication skills and applying the new ways of conflict resolution. The teachers successfully resolved different cases of conflicts through mediation.

Konferencija „Integrirano obrazovanje u multietničkim zajednicama“

Sistem „dvije škole pod jednim krovom“ je stvarnost u mnogim dijelovima BiH. NDC Mostar radi za integraciju i objedinjavanje takvih podijeljenih škola kroz dijalog. Svrha konferencije, održane u subotu, je promovirati nove i dobre prakse za integrirano obrazovanje u regiji, te stvoriti sigurno okruženje za razne interesne skupine kako bi izrazili svoje mišljenje slobodno. Gospodin Elvir Đuliman, direktor NDC-a Mostar, izjavio je da je tema konferencije teška i komplicirana, ali vrlo važna. Gospodin Hadžiomerović, ministar obrazovanja Hercegovačko-neretvanske županije, nastavio je govoriti o administrativnim poteškoćama, posebice kako je odgovornost za obrazovanje podijeljena između različitih političkih razina. On također smatra kako se rasprave o integriranom obrazovanja često svode na politiku i svakodnevno političko argumentiranje. Gospođa Komadina, glavni savjetnik gradonačelnika Mostara, zahvalila je NDC-u Mostar za organiziranje konferencije i naglasila potrebu skorog rješavanja izazova u školskom sistemu.

U svom govoru, veleposlanica Lilloe govorila je o norveškim aktivnostima u BiH. Ona je naglasila da je obrazovanje važan stup u svim društvima te da je integrirani i zajednički plan i program ključ pomirenja i mirnog suživota. Dalje je navela kako model "dvije škole pod jednim krovom" nije kompatibilan sa stvaranjem održivog i demokratskog društva, te je pozdravila nedavnu odluku suda FBiH, koji je presudio da je ovaj sistem diskriminirajući.

Nakon uvodnih govora, profesor Steinar Bryn, iz Nansen centra za mir i dijalog u Lillehammeru, održao je predavanje na temu "Dijalog u multietničkom društvu". Gospodin Bryn je naglasio da integrirano obrazovanje u multikulturalnim društvima nije samo izazov u BiH, već u cijeloj Europi. S tim u vezi, gospodin Bryn spomenuo je da integracijski izazovi postoje i u Oslu u školama s visokim postotkom useljenika i manjim brojem etničke norveške djece. On je također naglasio da je sada više nego ikada važno promicati dijalog i razumijevanje među svom djecom i roditeljima, bez obzira na etničku pripadnost.

Gospodin Bryn završio je svoje predavanje ističući da ako Mostar uspije riješiti pitanje integriranog odgoja i obrazovanja, to će postaviti vrlo dobar primjer za ostatak Europe.

Participacija u donošenju odluka: smanjenje nasilja u školama

„Participacija u donošenju odluka: smanjenje nasilja među mladima kroz unapređenje javnih politika za prevenciju i borbu protiv nasilja u školama na lokalnom nivou" je projekat organizacije PATRIR, koji je kreiran u saradnji sa Norveškim mirovnim savetom iz Norveške i Nansen dijalog centrom Srbija iz Srbije.

Cilj projekta je osnaživanje grupe aktivnih građana iz više sektora u gradu Kluž-Napoka koji će zajedno sa koordinatorima projekta i stručnjacima iz inostranstva sprovesti sveobuhvatnu analizu konflikata u oblasti nasilja u školama kako bi se unapredile postojeće politike koje se bave ovom oblašću. Grupa koju čine predstavnici više sektora će imati javne konsultacije i dijaloške sesije, sprovodiće kampanje za podizanje svesti, kreiraće intersektoralna partnerstva i na osnovu međunarodne komparativne studije o navedenoj temi će formulisati i predložiti gradskoj skupštini Kluž-Napoka i Školskom inspektoratu okruga Kluž dva predloga politika koje će doprineti prevenciji i borbi protiv nasilja u školama u gradu Kluž-Napoka. Tokom projekta biće sprovedeno komparativno istraživanje o nasilju u školama u Norveškoj, Srbiji i Rumuniji. Istraživanje će se baviti vrstama i uzrocima nasilja, kao i politikama koje se bave rešavanjem problema nasilja u ove tri zemlje. Projekat je finansiran od strane EEA donacija za period 2009-2014 kroz NVO Fond u Rumuniji.

Conference ˝Integrated education in multicultural society˝

The system of two schools under one roof is a reality in many parts of BiH. The NDC in Mostar works for integrating and unifying such divided schools through dialogue. The purpose of the conference on Saturday was to promote new and good practices for integrated education in the region and to create a safe environment for various stakeholders to state their opinion freely. Mr Elvir Đuliman, Director of NDC Mostar, stated that the topic of the conference is difficult and complicated, yet very important. Mr Hadžiomerović, Minister of Education of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, continued by speaking about administrative difficulties, particularly that responsibility for education is divided between different political levels.

Participation in Decision Making: Reducing Violence in Schools

"Participation in Decision Making: Reducing violence among youth by improving the public policies for preventing and combating violence in schools at local level” is a PATRIR project, designed in collaboration with the Norwegian Peace Council from Norway and Nansen Dialogue Centre Serbia from Serbia. Through this project, we aim to empower a multi-sectoral group of active citizens from Cluj-Napoca that, together with the project coordinators and foreign experts, will conduct a comprehensive conflict analysis on the topic of violence in schools, in order to bring improvements to the existing policies that should address it.

He was also concerned that discussions on integrated education often boiled down to politics and everyday political arguments. Ms Komadina, the Chief Advisor of the Mayor of Mostar, thanked the NDC for organizing the conference and stressed the need to address the challenges in the school system soon. In her speech, Ambassador Lilloe spoke about Norwegian activities in BiH. She emphasised that education was an important pillar in all societies and that an integrated and joint curricula are key in moving towards reconciliation and peaceful coexistence. She further stated that the model of “two schools under one roof” was not compatible with creating a sustainable and democratic society. She welcomed the recent FBiH court decision, which ruled that this system is discriminatory. Following the opening speeches, Professor Steinar Bryn from the Nansen Centre for Peace and Dialogue in Lillehammer, gave a lecture on Dialogue in a multi-ethnic society. Mr Bryn emphasised that integrated education in multicultural societies was not only

Dijalog i transformacija sukoba,

Trening za učesnike akademske mreže Barencovog regiona, 20 - 25. oktobra 2014, Lilehamer

Univerzitet u Tromseu uspostavio je saradnju i kreirao

zajednički projekat sa Univerzitetom humanističkih nauka u Murmansku, Severnim arktičkim federalnim univerzitetom u Arhangelsku i Državnim univerzitetom u Petrozavodsku, kao deo Akademske mreže Barencovog regiona, čiji je cilj jačanje saradnje na krajnjem Severu. Elizabet Sandersen, šefica administracije u Centru za mirovne studije na Univerzitetu Tromseu i Menadžerka projekta Ekaterina Trunova su osobe odgovorne za pokretanje i vođenje ovog uzbudljivog edukativnog projekta.

Grupa od 22 učesnika pohađala je jednonedeljni trening koji su vodile Tatjana Popović iz Nansen dijalog centra Srbija i Kristijane Zehauzen iz Nansen centra za mir i dijalog - NCPD. Menadžerka projekta Ekaterina Trunova izjavila je da je interesovanje za praktičan rad u okviru polja izgradnje mira među ruskim univerzitetima zaista veliko. Kao glavni razlog navodi da određeni broj nastavnika želi da usavrši svoje profesionalne veštine i da primenjuje interaktivne pristupe učenju.

Najvažniji ciljevi treninga bili su: predstavljanje dijaloga kao sredstva za poboljšanje odnosa među ljudma i kao dugotrajnog procesa podrške zajednici, učenje i vežbanje veština za analizu i rešavanje sukoba. Teorijski uvidi iz polja transformacije sukoba potkrepljivani su primerima iz prakse, od kojih su dva bila najobuhvatnija: izgradnja interetničkog dijaloga u postkonfliktnoj situaciji na Zapadnom Balkanu i razvoj interkulturalnog dijaloškog procesa u mutikulturalnom norveškom društvu. Učesnici su zamoljeni da koriste primere iz svog radnog okruženja tokom primene alatki za analizu sukoba, kao što su i fasilitatorke koristile pimere iz svoje radne prakse tokom predstavljanja istih.

Osnaživanje učesnika za ulogu agenta promena u svojim zajednicama ostvareno je kroz obučavanje za primenu Nansen dijalog pristupa, koji ima za cilj poboljšanje odnosa među predstavnicima lokalne zajednice. Naglasak je stavljen na kreiranje dijaloškog procesa tako da on odgovara potrebama ljudi i osnažuje lokalno stanovništvo. Rad u malim grupama sastavljenim od učesnika iz istog regiona bila je najbolja metodologija za ovaj proces. Sve grupe su posvećeno radile na strateškom planiranju, definisanju tema i aktivnosti koje će biti odgovarajuće za društvene promene u koje žele da ulože trud. Planovi su predvideli uvođenje Mirovnih studija kao programa na jednom od univerziteta, kreiranje dijaloga između izbeglica i lokalnog stanovništva, kao i kreiranje treninga za medijatore u privredi.

Učesnici su izdvojili interaktivnu metodologiju i participativni pristup, razmenu ličnih zapažanja tokom diskusija i učenje kroz zajedničko iskustvo kao najkorisnije aspekte treninga. Mnogi su naglasili da smatraju vrednim iskustvo rada sa fasilitatorkama koje imaju različita, ali kompatibilna iskustva. Po rečima učesnika, trening ih je osnažio da započnu i ostvare promene u svojim zajednicama, dao im je znanja i veštine neophodne za primenu specifičnih dijaloških procesa. Fasilitatorke se osećaju privilegovanim što su imale priliku da rade sa vrednom i motivisanom grupom ljudi, odlučnih da ulože svoju energiju u važne promene u svojim društvima da bi podržali saradnju među važnim društvenim akterima.

Dialogue and conflict transformation, training course for Barents Peace Education Network (BPEN), 20 - 25 October 2014, Lillehammer

The University of Tromsø has established cooperation and created a joint project with Murmansk University of Humanities, the Northern Arctic Federal University of Arkhangelsk and the State University of Petrozavodsk, as a part of the Barents Studies Network, whose aim is to enhance cooperation in the High North. Elisabeth Sandersen, Head of Administration at the Centre for Peace Studies at the University of Tromsø and project manager Ekaterina Trunova are responsible for initiating and leading this exciting educational project. The group of 22 participants attended a week-long training facilitated by Tatjana Popović, NDC Serbia and Christiane Seehausen, Nansen Centre for Peace and Dialogue. The project manager Ekaterina Trunova stated that the interest in practical peace work among the Russian universities was great. The main reason for that is that a certain number of teachers wanted to upgrade their professional skills and introduce more interactive approaches to learning.

The most important objectives of the training were to introduce participants to the dialogue as a tool for improving relationships among people and as a process of the long-term support of local community, as well as to practice conflict analysis skills. Theoretical inputs from conflict transformation field were combined with examples of practical work on developing interethnic dialogue processes in post-conflict situations in the Western Balkans and intercultural dialogue processes in the multicultural Norwegian society. Participants were asked to work on analyising conflict situations from their own work environment using the conflict analysis tools facilitators described bz using cases from their own work practice. Empowering participants to become change agents in their own communities was realised through training them to use Nansen dialogue approach with the aim of improving relationships of local stakeholders. The stress was put on designing dialogue processes in the way so that they corresponded to people’s needs and empowered local people. The best way to do it was in the small groups comprised of participants from the same region. All groups were very engaged in the strategy planning, in defining topics and activites best suited for the particular change they planned to bring about. The plans envisaged intoducing the Peace studies as a course at one of the universities, establishing dialogue between refugees and domestic population, creating the training for business mediators. Participants stressed participatory and interactive approaches, exchange of individual observations during

discussions and experiential learning as being the most useful. Many stated that it was valuable to work with facilitators with different, yet compatible expereinces. In their own words, the training empowered participants to bring about the change in their own communities and equipped them with knowledge and skills necessary for implementing specific dialogue processes. Facilitators were privileged to work with such a hard-working, motivated group of people determined to invest their energy in the important changes in their societies in order to establish cooperation among important actors.

MEĐUNARODNI DAN MIRA 2014

Nansen dijalog centri i Globalno partnerstvo za prevenciju oružanih sukoba - GPPAC, kao i prethodnih godina obeležavaju 21. septembar, Međunarodni dan mira. Članice GPPAC i škole u regionu Zapadnog Balkana povodom ovog dana organizuju brojne aktivnosti.

Mnoge škole, mirovni edukatori i aktivisti širom regiona su povodom 21. septembra 2014. godine organizovale brojne aktivnosti koje su se istovremeno odvijale u mnogim gradovima u regionu kao što su: Beograd, Novi Sad, Podgorica, Ulcinj, Nikšić, Prijedor, Sanski Most, Zrenjanin, Vrbas, Inđija, Ruma,

Novi Bečej, Niš i mnogi drugi.

OŠ Miloje Čiplić, Novi Bečej

U petak 19.9.2014. godine prvi čas posvećen je Međunarodnom danu mira. Nastavnici su upoznali učenike sa idejom Međunarodnog dana mira i podsticali učenike na mirno rešavanje sukoba, da pronađu kreativne načine kako oni mogu da doprinesu miru i bezbednosti ljudi. Najbolji likovni radovi na temu „Ja lajkujem mir-mir je moj izbor“ su poslati na konkurs, a ostali dobri radovi, kao i literarni su stavljeni na panoe škole. Učenici prvog razreda su crtali na pločniku ispred škole, a drugaci su na belim balonima ispisali poruke mira i sa tim balonima pozdravljali prolaznike ispred škole. Učiteljice su u trećem razredu održale radionice na temu „Mi širimo mir“, a četvrtaci su pravili plakate na istu temu.

THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE 2014

As in previous years, Nansen Dialogue Centres and the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict – GPPAC are marking 21 September, the International Day of Peace. On this occasion, GPPAC members in the Western Balkans are organizing a number of activities. Many schools, peace educators and activists across the region are organizing a number of activities on the occasion of this important international date. The activities are simultaneously taking place in many towns and cities in the region such as: Belgrade, Novi Sad, Podgorica, Ulcinj, Nikšić, Prijedor, Sanski Most, Zrenjanin, Vrbas, Inđija, Ruma, Novi Bečej, Niš and many others.

„Lets’ Like Peace“ - "Oktoih", Podgorica Activities under the slogan "Lets’ Like Peace" on the occasion of the International Day of Peace lasted three days in the primary school "Oktoih" in Podgorica. Senior classes participated in the arts competition for the Peace Calendar and younger peacemakers screened a video message on a peace puzzle during one school recess. The next day, they made a peace tree which symbolized the power of peace in the school hall. It also presented techniques for dealing with violence. Peacemakers sent a message "We too vote for peace“ to children from all over the world. Coordinator and school mediator, teacher Savo Kovačević, underlined that we had to fight and strive for peace every day, because peace was achievable! Peacemakers have existed for four years already and have promoted mediation and non-violent conflict resolution through their activities by providing positive example and via organising Forum Theater and similar events. www.vragolanioktoih.weebly.com.

PS Miloje Čiplić, Novi Bečej On Friday, 19 September 2014, the first class was dedicated to the International Day of Peace. The teachers introduced students to the idea of the International Day of Peace and encouraged them for peaceful conflict resolution and to find creative ways in which they as individuals can contribute to peace and human security. The best artworks on the topic “I Like Peace – Peace Is My Choice” were sent to the arts competition, and the best essays were published in the school halls. The first graders made drawings on the pavement in front of the school, while second graders wrote messages of peace on white balloons with which they greeted passersby. Third grade teachers organised a workshop titled "We Spread Peace", while fourth graders created posters on the same topic. During all activities, participants were repeating the chosen motto: "Let's treat others as we would like others to treat us."

NDC Prijedor – aktivnosti u Prijedoru i Sanskom Mostu Škole iz Prijedora i Sanskog Mosta u saradnji sa Nansen dijalog centrom Prijedor organizovale su brojne javne aktivnosti na temu „Mir je naš izbor“ kojima su obeležavile Međunarodni dan mira. U Prijedoru je na Trgu kod RK Patria održan defile svih škola učesnica sa temom „Mir je naš izbor“, učenici su iscrtavali pločnik, oslikavali otiscima znak mira na belom platnu i delili promotivne materijale sa mirovnim porukama. U Sanskom Mostu aktivnosti su ralizovane u parku na Zdeni defileom svih škola učesnica, a tom prilikom predstavljeni su literarni i likovni radovi na temu „Mir je naš izbor“ uz muzičke tačke, poruke mira i podelu NDC promotivnih materijala sa mirovnim porukama.

Nedelja mira u OŠ „Miroslav Antić“

Ovo je treća godina za redom da Međunarodni dan mira obeležavamo čitave nedelje. Ove godine smo se brojnim aktivnostima podsetili koliko je važno živeti, raditi, učiti i igrati se u miru. Svi učenici od prvog do osmog razreda realizovali su različite aktivnosti. Prvi čas bio je posvećen ovom danu kroz petominutni razgovor. U holu i hodnicima škole bili su objavljeni crteži mlađih i starijih razreda, nastali kroz rad likovnih sekcija. Mlađi učenici su donosili bele balone sa porukama mira i kačili ih na ogradu škole i u hodnicima kada je kiša padala. Poruke su pisali sa roditeljima. Pravili su i odeljenske panoe sa rečenicima mira i ilustracijama. Učenici četvrtog razreda su imali čas srpskog jezika na temu „Mir u poeziji i prozi“. Školsko dvorište je bilo iscrtano motivima mira. Učenici su realizovali radionice sa razrednim starešinama na časovima odeljenske zajednice. Psihološkinja i pedagoškinja su održale tribinu sa starijim učenicima na temu „Mir u nama i oko nas“. I ove godine su se realizovale zajedničke aktivnosti mlađih i starijih učenika. Odeljenja drugog i šestog, prvog i petog razreda su crtali u školskom dvorištu, imali radionice u učionicama, igrali utakmice i pravili zajedno plakate.

U holu škole je i ove godine bila otvorena Knjiga mira u koju su roditelji upisivali poruke. Zainteresovani učenici su slikali i crtali na temu „Ja lajkujem mir-mir je moj izbor“ da bi se uključili u konkurs Nansen dijalog centra. U Danima mira Učenički parlament je učestvovao u debatama i humanitarnoj akciji „Deca deci“. Tim medijatora (šesti, sedmi i osmi razred) učestvovao je na seminaru za rešavanje konflikata. Aktivnosti se nastavljaju iako je ovaj Međunarodni dan prošao. Uspeli smo da uključimo i ove godine mnogo nastavnika, učenika i roditelja.

NDC Prijedor – activities in Prijedor and Sanski Most

Schools from Prijedor and Sanski Most in cooperation with NDC Prijedor organised numerous activities on the topic "Peace is our choice" with which they marked the International Day of Peace. On the Square by HC Patria a parade of all participating schools was held, and students painted the sidewalk on the topic "Peace is our Choice", they painted peace signs on white canvas and handed out promotional material with peace messages.

In Sanski Most activities were organised in the park on Zdena with a parade of all participating schools. On that occasion literary and art works on the theme "Peace is Our Choice" were presented followed by music numbers, peace messages and handing out of NDC's promotional materials

NDC Prijedor Peace Week in PS “Miroslav Antić“

This was the third year in a row that we marked the International Day of Peace for the whole week. This year numerous activities reminded us how important it is to live, work, learn and play in peace. All students from the first to the eighth grade realised different activities. The first class was dedicated to this day by five minute discussion. In the school halls the artworks by younger and older students that were made during arts sessions were displayed. Younger students were bringing white balloons with peace messages and hanged them on the school fence and in the school hallways when it started to rain. They made messages with their parents. They also made classroom billboards with peace sentences and illustrations. Students of the fourth grade had Serbian language class on the topic “Peace in poetry and prose”. The schoolyard was decorated with symbols of peace.

Students realised workshops with their teachers in head teacher’s classes. Psychologist and pedagogue held a lecture with senior students on the topic “Peace In Us and Around us”. This year too joint activities of younger and older students were held. Classes of the second and the sixth, the first and the fifth grade were drawing together in the school yard, had workshops in their classrooms, played sports and made posters.

A Book of Peace was opened in the school hall in which parents wrote messages this year as well. Interested students made drawings on the topic "I Like Peace – Peace Is My Choice“ to participate in the Arts competition of the Nansen Dialogue Centre. During the Days of Peace, the Student Parliament participated in debates and the charity activity „From Children to Children“. Mediators team (sixth, seventh and eight grade) participated in a cofnlict resolution seminar. Activities will be continued even though this International Day of Peace had passed. This year as well, we managed to include a lot of theachers, students and parents.

OŠ „Nikola Tesla“ iz Novog Sada obeležila je Međunarodni dan mira sa porukom „Ja lajkujem mir - mir je moj izbor“. Tokom cele nedelje u školi su organizovane aktivnosti: pisanje poruka mira i ukrašavanje hola škole golubovima mira koji nose ove poruke, učenici su delili golubove mira od papira sa porukom mira na Telepu, posađeno je drvo mira u školskom parku uz puštanje balona koji su nosili poruke mira, započet je rad na otvaranju medijatorskog kluba, kao i projekat „Škole za mir“ sa prijateljima iz Tuzle i Engleske...

PS "Nikola Tesla“ in Novi Sad marked the International Day of Peace with the message "I Like Peace – Peace Is My Choice". During this entire week the school organised a number of activities: writing peace messages and decorating the school hall with paper mache peace doves that carried the messages, students were giving away paper doves of peace with peace messages in Telep, the opening process of mediation club was started as well as the project "Schools for Peace" with friends from Tuzla and England...

... OŠ „Marko Miljanov“, Podgorica je obilježila Međunarodni dan mira (21. septembar). Sve aktivnosti održane su u ponedjeljak 22. septembra: nastavnici su uvodni dio časa posvetili razgovoru sa učenicima na temu mira, literarni i likovni radovi na temu mira izloženi su u holu škole, u sklopu učeničkog parlamenta održana je radionica na temu "Čuvajmo mir", a na času engleskog jezika učenici VIII razreda obradili su temu "Peace". Učenici su na velikom odmoru u dvorištu škole pustiti balone u koje su ubacili poruke mira… ... OŠ ,,Maršal Tito" – Ulcinj je kao i prethodne školske godine priredila literarnu i likovnu izložbu, a učenici su napravili poruke mira koje su izlijepili na stablima gradskog zelenila i stubovima gradske rasvjete 18. septembra... ...učenici i nastavnici OŠ „Učitelj Tasa“, Niš obeležili su Međunarodni dan mira razgovorom o važnosti nenasilnog rešavanja sukoba i negovanja vrednosti poput tolerancije, ukrašavanjem hola simbolima mira. Povodom ovog datuma zvanično je počo sa radom vršnjački medijatorski tim... ... OŠ „Milija Nikčević“ iz Nikšića obilježila Međunarodni dan mira u ponedjeljak 22. septembra izložbom u glavnom holu škole, gdje su predstavljeni likovni radovi učenika, citati o miru, kao i info tabla o Nobelovoj nagradi za mir. Učenici - školski medijatori napravili su listu pjesama koje promovišu mir, i pustili ih u toku velikog odmora…

JA LAJKUJEM MIR – MIR JE MOJ IZBOR

U regionu Zapadnog Balkana GPPAC je povodom Međunarodnog dana mira - 21. septembra organizovao likovni konkurs na temu „Ja lajkujem mir - mir je moj izbor“ za učenike osnovnih i srednjih škola iz regiona. Škole, nastavnici i učenici prihvatili su poziv da se uključe u obeležavanje Međunarodnog dana mira i učestvovali su na regionalnom likovnom konkursu sa preko 2000 učeničkih radova, što je najveći broj pristiglih radova u poslednjih pet godina, koliko NDC Srbija i NDC Crna organizuju mirovni likovni konkurs.

Centri su tokom poslednje decenije aktivno radili na regionalnom projektu Obrazovane institucije implementiraju obrazovanje za mir u saradnji sa brojnim školama i resornim ministarstvima u regionu, a mirovni likovni konkurs organizuju sa ciljem da uključe što veći broj škola, nastavnika i učenika iz regiona u integraciju elemenata obrazovanja za mir u nastavu. Ciljevi konkursa 2014 bili su: upoznavanje učenika sa idejom Međunarodnog dana mira; razgovor o digitalnom nasilju i podsticanje njegove prevencije; podsticanje učenika da pronađu kreativne načine na koje oni kao pojedinci mogu da doprinesu miru; doprinos bezbednosti ljudi, toleranciji i pomirenju u regionu Zapadnog Balkana...

Promocija Mirovnog kalendara za 2015. godinu održana je u Beogradu i Podgorici. U Beogradu je Nansen dijalog centar Srbija organizovao okrugli sto na temu Ja lajkujem mir - prevencija nasilja u školama. Učesnici okruglog stola govorili su o prevenciji nasilja u školama u Srbiji, restorativnoj medijaciji kao tehnici intervencije kada se nasilje dogodi, primerima i iskustvima u realizaciji programa prevencije nasilja u multietničkim sredinama na primeru škola u Vojvodini.

Pobednički radovi regionalnog likovnog konkursa Ja lajkujem mir - mir je moj izbor ilustrovali su GPPAC Mirovni kalendar za 2015. godinu. Međunarodna komisija za izbor radova izabrala je 12 pobedničkih radova, dok je glasovima Facebook publike odabran još jedan nagrađeni rad. Realizaciju likovnog konkursa i promociju Mirovnog kalendara podržali su Globalno partnerstvo za prevenciju oružanih sukoba (GPPAC), Ministrastvo prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja Republike Srbije i Ministarstvo prosvjete Crne Gore.

Po završetku okruglog stola predstavljen je Mirovni kalendar za 2015. godinu i rezultati regionalnog likovnog konkursa Ja lajkujem mir – mir je moj izbor, kada su uručene nagrade i sertifikati Mladi grade mir pobednicima iz Srbije.

Nansen dijalog centar Crna Gora je u Zavodu za školstvo dodelio nagrade učesnicima Regionalnog likovnog konkursa Ja lajkujem mir - mir je moj izbor i promovisao GPPAC Mirovni kalendar za 2015. godinu. Učenicima je nagrade uručila Ivana Gajović, direktorka Nansen dijalog centra Crna Gora, a na velikom uspehu na konkursu čestitala im je pomoćnica ministra prosvjete Crne Gore Vesna Vučurović.

I LIKE PEACE – PEACE IS MY CHOICE On the occasion of 21 September – the International Day of Peace - GPPAC organised a Regional Arts Competition titled "I Like Peace – Peace Is My Choice" for primary and secondary school students in the region of the Western Balkans. Schools, teachers and students accepted the call to join the celebration of 21 September - the International Day of Peace by participating in the regional arts competition with over 2000 student artworks, which was the largest number of submitted artworks in the last five years, during which NDC Serbia and NDC Montenegro have organised the arts competition.

During the past decade, the Centres have actively been working on the regional project Educational Institutions Implement Peace Education in cooperation with numerous schools and ministries of education from the region. They organised the 2014 peace arts competition with the objective to include greater number of schools, teachers and students from the region in the integration of peace education elements in schools. The goals of the 2014 competition were: to introduce students to the idea of the International Day of Peace; to discuss digital violence and to encourage its prevention; to encourage students to find creative ways in which they as individuals can contribute to peace; contribution to the security of people, tolerance and reconciliation in the Western Balkan region...

The winning artworks of the Regional Arts Competition I Like Peace – Peace Is My Choice illustrated the GPPAC Peace Calendar for 2015. The international selection committee selected 12 winning artworks, while one additional artwork was selected by Facebook voting. The Arts Competition was supported by the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC), the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Education of Montenegro.

The 2015 Peace Calendar was promoted in Belgrade and in Podgorica.

In Belgrade, Nansen Dialogue Centre Serbia organised a round table on the topic I Like Peace – Prevention of Violence in Schools where the speakers talked about the prevention of violence in schools in Serbia, restorative justice as an intervention technique when violence has already happened, the examples and experiences in the realisation of the violence prevention programme in multiethnic communities as applied in selected schools in Vojvodina. The round table was followed by the launching of the 2015 Peace Calendar and the presentation of the results of the Regional Arts Competition "I Like Peace – Peace Is My Choice", the awards ceremony and the presentation of the Youth Building Peace certificates for the winners from Serbia.

Nansen Dialogue Centre Montenegro held the awards ceremony for students from Montenegro who participated in the Regional Arts Competition I Like Peace – Peace Is My Choice and the promotion of the GPPAC Peace Calendar for 2015. Ivana Gajović, the director of NDC Montenegro, presented the awarded students with prizes and Vesna Vučurović, the assistant to the Minister of Education of Montenegro, congratulated the awarded students on a great success.
