It was great having Don Mitchell and his wife, Gayle, among us last Lord's Day. After we
learned of Jon Willson's retirement and coming move to Vernon, Texas, we contacted Don to
see if he might be available to lead singing at our worship assemblies a time or two every
month, and for the time being he has agreed to do so. I am grateful.

Monday, May 21, is the final lunch that we will make
available to Midland High students this school year. Many
busy hands unite each week to plan, prepare, serve, and
clean up after this lunch. One of the highlights of my week
from September through May is the chance to greet, learn
names of, and give thanks for food with between 45 and 65
teens each week.

You will notice on the left side of the front page of our bulletin that we now list Connor Reed
as someone that we support in missions. Connor, the younger son of former North A
members, Eddie and Janet Reed, has completed eight months of classroom and practical
training in the Adventures In Missions (A.I.M.) program at Sunset International Bible Institute
and left on May 15 to travel to Cochabamba, Bolivia. He plans to serve there for eighteen
months and will be guided in his work there by an experienced and effective missionary
couple, Butch and Trish Sandoval.
