Industrial Concrete Floors• If the concrete floor has moisture issues, the Armor SX5000 or Armor SX5000 WB are the

best choices. They fill in the pores of the concrete or brick with liquid and as that liquid chemically reacts it transforms into a solid. The Armor SX5000 and Armor SX5000 WB stop 100% of water and moisture for up to 10+ years. If the concrete floor has a greater need for chemical resistance, densification, or if the floor will be polished, the Armor L3000 concrete sealer may be a better choice simply because of its superior hardening and densification properties. If you need a coating, the Armor Polyaspartic Coating is a great alternative to epoxy and polyurethane based coatings.

Concrete With Active Water Seepage and Moisture Issues

• For best results, all Foundation Armor sealers should be used on dry, properly repaired and cleaned surfaces. In many cases our sealers can be used on concrete with high moisture readings and/or active water seepage, but dilution ratios and application instructions may need to be changed or adjusted.

Concrete Pavers• Like with interior concrete, which sealer you use is dependent on why you want to seal it.

If your concrete pavers have moisture issues, or if you plan on applying a Satin Sheen (Armor AR350) or high gloss (Armor AR500) coating, you want to first apply the Armor SX5000 or Armor SX5000 WB. These sealers will protect the pavers, and the coating, from water and moisture coming up through the pavers. If you want a sealer that will strengthen the concrete and protect it from the elements (chemical stains, tree stains, salt and freeze-thaw damage, animal urine, etc.), the Armor L3000 concrete sealer is designed to densify the concrete and provide excellent chemical resistance.

Poured Concrete Driveway• Like with pavers, you have a few choices. If your concrete driveway has moisture issues, or if

you plan on applying a Satin Sheet (Armor AR350) or high gloss (Armor AR500) coating, you want to first apply the Armor SX5000 or Armor SX5000 WB. These sealers will protect the concrete driveway, and the coating, from water and moisture coming up through the pavers. If you want a sealer that will strengthen the concrete and protect it from the elements (chemical stains, tree stains, salt and freeze-thaw damage, animal urine, etc.), the Armor L3000 concrete sealer is designed to densify the concrete and provide excellent chemical resistance.

Stamped Concrete• If your stamped concrete has moisture issues, or if you plan on applying a Satin

Sheet (Armor AR350) or high gloss (Armor AR500) coating, you want to first apply the Armor SX5000 or Armor SX5000 WB. These sealers will protect your stamped concrete, and the coating, from water and moisture coming up through the pavers. If you want a sealer that will strengthen the concrete and protect it from the elements (chemical stains, tree stains, salt and freeze-thaw damage, animal urine, etc.), the Armor L3000 concrete sealer is designed to densify the concrete and provide excellent chemical resistance.

Poured Concrete Basements

• If you don’t currently have water or moisture issues and are looking for a preventative sealer, the Armor S1000 and Armor S2000 sealers are the most appropriate. If you have high levels of moisture in your basement, you want to use a water repellent like the Armor SX5000 or Armor SX5000 WB.

Garage Floor

• To strengthen and protect a garage floor, you want to use the Armor L3000 concrete sealer. If your garage floor has water or moisture issues you want to use the Armor SX5000 or Armor SX5000 WB. To protect your garage from chemical stains you can use the Armor L3000 alone or apply a coating such as the Armor Polyaspartic Coating (stronger alternative to epoxies) or the Armor AE Fusion gloss.

Concrete Ponds• There are two reasons why you would want to use a sealer on a concrete pond: 1) to strengthen

and protect the concrete or 2) to keep the water from escaping. Silicate based sealers are great for strengthening the concrete, especially the Armor L3000 concrete sealer, but silicate sealers are “breathable sealers.” They are strong enough to stop temporary exposure to water, and constant exposure to moisture, but they are not designed to hold water in. The best solution for a concrete pond is to first apply the Armor L3000 concrete sealer, then to apply a coating, liner, or other type of material designed to hold water.

Exposed Aggregate

• To help protect the aggregate from moisture, you want to use the Armor SX5000 or Armor SX5000 WB sealers. If you want a Satin Sheen, apply the Armor AR350, or if you want a high gloss apply the Armor AR500.

Cinderblocks

• Cinderblocks are hollow and very porous and for that reason, you want to use the Armor SX5000 or Armor SX5000 WB. They fill in the pores with a material that when chemically activated, turns into a solid. The Armor SX5000 or Armor SX5000 WB stop 100% of water and moisture while at the same time allowing the cinderblocks to breathe.
