Montage

Description: Spiritual montage poster.Programs: Photoshop, Illustrator.Date: October 24, 2015Course: Visual MediaInstructor: Jason StuckiObjective: Learn to blend images together, use masks apply typography, manage layers in Photoshop and use filtersProcess: I first thought go my idea and what I wanted to do and in the process chose my photo I wanted to use. I took 2 other photos that were taken just seconds apart and used the lasso tool to cut them out. I placed them in front and behind the person to make it look they were walking. I used a mask to blend the figure in front and behind to give them more of a ghostly ap-pearance. I then chose a quote that went a long with the picture and used a black box behind it to make the words stick out a little more.

Flier Project

Description:Programs:Date:Course:Visual MediaInstructor:Jason StuckiObjective: Apply the design principles and use appro-priate typography, incorporate basic InDesign skills to improve basic flyer layout, create a project folder with image, logo and InDesign document to keep links in-tact.Process: I first sketched out 4 different designs on a piece of paper. I chose from those designs which I thought was the best and used that as my guide. I the opened indesign and started to create my design there. I found that the design I had drawn out wasn’t exactly a fitting design so I moved some of the different ele-ments around until I liked what I had created.I used horizontal and vertical lines to separate the different parts of the flier. I believe that they message is clear and my design is very organized and unified.
