Two modes of operation:Float mode: Used to supply 240V to the system and give trickle charges to the battery bank to maintain the voltage of bank. Under normal conditions, the charger is always on float mode. It is a constant voltage source.Boost mode: When the batteries are discharged only than the charger is switched to boost mode to charge the discharged batteries. It is a constant current source. Under this mode you can control the current output through current limiter switch.
Float ModeUnder healthy conditions, the charger supplies the dc load in float mode.Under float mode, charger supplies the load and also charges the batteries at trickle rate.Float mode is a constant voltage source and voltage output is 240V.
Boost ModeBoost mode is used to charged the discharged battery bank.It is a constant current mode and current can adjusted by the current limit switch on the charger panel.Charger can go on the boost mode only when the DCDB incomer is in OFF position.
