On behalf of our Computer engineering & Information Technology department,
we are thankful to Principal Dr. G.R.Kulkarni, Director (Academic) Dr. K.H.Wandra
and management of the institute for their good support and inspiration to allow us to
arrange second Educational trip to BANGLORE-MYSORE. In future we are eager
to arrange more industrial visit across the country to gain knowledge and to be
aware with recent technology and market scenario by visiting different leading IT
firms.

EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO BENGALURU
10th
JULY 2012 SURENDRANAGARMUMBAI TRAIN (DAY - 1)
We will depart from Surendranagar in 19006-Saurashtra Mail on 10-Jul-2012at 18:15 & Arrive
at Mumbai Dadar Western Station on 11-Jul-2012at 6:45.
11th
JULY 2012 MUMBAIBANGLORE TRAIN (DAY - 2)
Assemble at CST Railway Station by 6.45 am to board 16529- Udyan Express departing at 7.55
am to Bangalore.
12th
JULY 2012 BANGALORE (DAY- 3)
Arrive Bangalore by 08.30 am, transfer to the hotel. Fresh and change at the hotel. Then
immediately proceed for full day excursion at Wonderla Water Park. Lunch at the Water Park
and then dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
13th
JULY 2012 BANGALORE(DAY4)
After early breakfast depart for Industrial visit (Coca-Cola) at 10.00 A.M. Lunch at the hotel.
After lunch depart for Industrial visit (IISC) at 14.30 P.M. In evening snacks at the hotel, andDance Party, dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
14th
JULY 2012 BANGALOREMYSORE (DAY - 5)
After early wake up call, breakfast will be served at the hotel. Check out and depart for Infosys
by 07.00 am. & full day Industrial visit. Attended SPARK program. In Evening proceed to
Mysore (135 K.M.). Then check into the hotel, Dinner & in overnight taken our door visit of
Mysore palace in color light , then stay at the hotel.

JULY 2012 MYSOREBANGALOREMUMBAI TRAIN (DAY - 6)
After breakfast, check out & Visit to St. Philomena Church& Mysore Palace. After en-route
Lunch visited Tipu sultans Summer palace, Shrirangapattanam, then we directly depart
for Bangalore City Junctionin 16530-Udyan Express on 15-Jul-2012at 20:00 & Arrive at Mumbai
Dadar Central Station on 16-Jul-2012at 19:24.

After full day en-route. We will depart from MumbaiDadar Western Stationin 19005-Saurashtra

IISC Bangalore:Gulmohar Marg, Near-Centre For Nero science, Bangalore.
Mathikere, Bangalore, Karnataka.The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) was conceived
as a 'Research Institute' or 'University of Research' by Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata, in the final
years of the 19th century. The Institute occupies nearly 400 acres of prime land in
Bangalore, generously donated by the Maharaja of Mysore in March 1907.
The Faculty of Engineering consists of Departments of Aerospace, Civil, Chemical,
Mechanical Engineering,Materials Engineering,Management Studies,Centre for Atomospheric
and Ocean Sciences, Electrical, Electrical Communication, Computer Science & Automation,
Centre for Electronic Design Technology, Centre for Product Design and Manufacturing, and
Supercomputer Education & Research Centre.
The Supercomputer Education and Research Centre (SERC) at IISc provides excellent
opportunities for pursuing advanced research and education in various aspects of Computer
Systems, Computational Sciences. The centre provides the state-of-the-art computing
environment, which compares well with the top Computing Centres anywhere in the world.
Besides pursuing cutting edge research, the centre leads several national initiatives and provides
industrial consultancy and research services. SERC is engaged in research programs in areas
relating to high-performance systems and applications. The research focus of SERC can be
broadly classified into two areas, namely Computer Systems, Computational Science. The Centre
is involved in several sponsored research projects in collaboration with many government and
private agencies.
Highlights of Visit:1) Infosys Bangalore :
Attended SPARK PROGRAM. SPARK is a one day program that is designed to
expose / boost up student skill like Leadership, Uniqueness , Group task/work , Honest
as well as accuracy and Time Management to the best in class learning environment
and techniques. Total 58 students had participated in the program and got awareness of
global IT Market.
2) Coca cola India :
Visited fully automated production plant of coca cola India. Students observed high
security and quality standards of fully automated production plant.
3) IISC Bangalore
Visited the Supercomputer Education and Research Centre (SERC) at IISc providesexcellent opportunities for pursuing advanced research and education in various aspects of
Computer Systems, Computational Sciences. Students observed distributed environments in
research centers of SERC and also observed a super computer model.
