Visit the Royal Grand Palace, then go through the dazzling Wat Phra Kaew with its revered

Emerald Buddha, the Golden Chedi, Pantheon of the Chakri Kings, a miniature replica of Angkor

Wat in Cambodia and the eight colored towers.

Visit Wat Trimit with its solid golden Buddha. Then go through Chinatown to the flower market

Drive past the Royal Grand Palace along Ratchadamnern Avenue, passing the Democracy Monument, various ministries and government offices, the Royal Plaza and the Marble Throne Hall before visiting the Marble Temple and its galleries where the most beautiful Buddha images in various positions are kept. Drive to Chinatown for a guided walking tour of the area. During this walk you pass Chinese shrines, colourful markets, narrow lanes with tiny shops and houses. In these lanes you will get glimpses inside typical Chinese households. Chinatown has been the main Chinese trading centre since the Chinese community was moved from its old site more than 200 years ago to make way for the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew complex. Then visit the flower market at Pak Klong Talad. A stop will also be made at Wat Suthat with its superb carved wooden doors and the remains of beautiful murals dating from the reign of Rama III (1842-1851). In front of the temple is the tall, spectacular Giant Swing. Then return to the hotel.

marble and decorated with impressive fresco paintings dating from the reign of King Rama VI to welcome

visiting royalty and dignitaries, the magnificent Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall is worth a visit in its own right.

The museum within is the pride of the Thai nation and promised to be a new landmark of the country. In this

opulent setting you will discover an exquisite display of hundreds objects meticulously created by artisans

trained by Queen Sirikit's SUPPORT Training Center, a foundation where underprivileged

villagers are taught traditional arts and crafts skills. The exhibits here represent

the highest standard of beauty and creativity, the result of many years of work

by hundreds of dedicated artisans. The ten stunning masterpieces alone are testimonies

of the efforts, attention to detail and artistry paid by all the artisans.

Prior to visiting the museum, you will visit Wat Rajbopit where the curving walls of the buildings are covered with

beautiful glazed tiles and the doors are inlaid with mother of pearl, the work of master craftsmen.

Visit the ancient city of Ayutthaya (1350-1767) now the World Heritage Site.

Start with Wat Chai Wattanaram with was similar to beautiful Khmer’s architecture, Wat Nah

pass Wat Phra Si Sanphet and historical center. International buffet lunch will be provided at the

Krung Sri Riverside Hotel. After lunch make a sight-seeing through the Ayothaya area (The old city

of Ayutthaya) remains for the history. End up the day for luck at Wat Yai Chai Mongkol, which mean

great luck and victory, visiting the large chedi. The top of this chedi is visible as soon as one enter

which you can stroll. In the Bird Show you'll see well trained eagles, owls, macaws and

Kanchanaburi, a large province with rainforests and bamboo jungles only 130 kms west of Bangkok,

offers an opportunity to ride on elephant-back and enjoy bamboo rafting without having to go all the

way to Chiang Mai. Spend the morning on a 40-minute ride on the bamboo raft followed by

30 minutes on the elephant’s back -- two refreshing experiences. After lunch at a local restaurant,

take a short ride on the original Death Railway train passing over a very long wooden viaduct among

sheer cliffs, before travelling back to Bangkok.

The highlight of this full-day excursion is a visit to the remote forest temple of

Wat Pha Luangtabua, some 160 kms from Bangkok. In these beautiful surroundings,

dedicated Buddhist monks live with numerous wild animals including ten tigers, which

they take for a walk on a leash every afternoon. This is one of the most extraordinary

sights you will ever see in Thailand, and is probably unique in the world. In such

proximity to the tigers, all visitors must exercise caution, and never act in any way

that might disturb or frighten the beasts. In the morning, the tour visits the famous

"Bridge on the River Kwai" and the newly-opened War Museum, which has a number of

fascinating exhibits. Lunch is provided at a restaurant close to the bridge.
